Vivica A. Fox Admits 50 Cent Was The Love Of Her Life

Actress Vivica A. Fox is still carrying a torch for rapper 50 Cent.

A cast member on this season’s Celebrity Apprentice, which concludes Monday evening, Fox apparently revealed that she is still in love with her ex-boyfriend in an appearance on The Meredith Viera Show that will air on Monday afternoon.

Fox only dated 50 Cent (Curtis Jackson) for about a year and broke up with him in 2003, the aftermath of which turned acrimonious between the two. The passage of time apparently has healed all wounds, however, which is often the case in intense relationships that go south.

According to US Weekly, Fox described her still-strong feelings for 50 Cent.

“He is absolutely the love of my life. I really, really cared for him, and I loved him very, very much, and I always will, but he just wasn’t right for me. That’s hard when you really, really love a person in your heart, you want to be with them, but you finally have to say, ‘He’s just not right for me.’ I wish him the best, he is amazing and baby, he’s fine, but… sometimes love ain’t always right. The heart wants what it wants, but sometimes it’s just not right.”

Fox, 50, added that “[I learned] to trust in my heart and know to take the time not to settle. I think as women sometimes we’re afraid to be alone or we think, ‘Oh my god, he’s a great catch.'”

If you watched season 7 of Celebrity Apprentice, you know that Vivica A. Fox has — on the other hand — no love for cast member Kenya Moore.

Fox and Moore had a huge blowup in Donald Trump’s boardroom over a stolen phone and an alleged fake tweet sent out under Fox’s name. Fox and Moore went at it tooth and nail, rhetorically speaking, in the aired footage (calling someone a “toxic trick” is not exactly a term of endearment, for example), so the outtakes must be really over the top. Moore has subsequently claimed her departure from the reality show was pre-planned and offered to take a lie detector test to prove her innocence in the cell phone caper.

Unusual for ego-driven celebrities, after making the final three, Fox honorably bowed out in favor of Leeza Gibbons, after acknowledging to Trump that Gibbons was the stronger player. Gibbons is vying with Geraldo Rivera for the show’s top honors.

Vivica A. Fox is perhaps best known for starring in Kill Bill, Independence Day, and the unforgettable Sharknado 2.
