Kylie Jenner Models At Kanye West’s NYFW Show: Is She Jealous Of Kendall’s Success?

Kylie Jenner made her modeling debut at New York Fashion Week. Kendall Jenner isn’t the only sister in the family who’s modeling these days. Kanye West hosted his first fashion show in New York City on Thursday, February 12 to launch his collaboration with Adidas, according to Us Weekly. He asked Kylie to model his designs. The 17-year-old is also reportedly jealous of older sister Kendall’s sudden fame. Could it be that Kylie wants to become a model as well?

Jenner wore a sheer bodysuit, olive sports bra, brown booty shorts, and chocolate knee-high boots at the runway show. West’s debut show took place at the Skylight Clarkson Square, according to the report. Jenner’s sporty ensemble was topped off with a black shearling motorcycle coat.

Kylie kept her trademark dark tresses under a black sheer cap. The Instagram model and beauty inspiration also ditched her dark pout in favor of a nude shade. Kylie’s makeup was a combination of beiges and browns with hints of amber rouge on her cheekbones, according to the Daily Mail.

Some fans thought that the makeup, no-makeup look complemented her face. Meanwhile, other fans thought that Kylie looked absurd in Kanye’s designs. They didn’t hold back when she shared a photo of herself on Instagram.

This Jenner sister wasn’t the only family member around. Her half-sister and West’s wife, Kim Kardashian, watched her husband’s designs come to life in the front row. She was there along with her daughter, North West, who was sitting on her lap.

Fashion Week was reportedly abuzz about Kanye’s Adidas collection Yeezus Boost. The show started an hour later, according to the Guardian, but it picked up when Kanye’s new song “Wolves” played. North stole the show when she threw a tantrum and a stoic Anna Wintour was desperate to get away from her.

Kylie was grateful for finally having her time to shine. She wrote, “Kanye X Adidas. Thank u to Ye for believing in me.” Kylie captioned a behind-the-scenes photo from the show, which she shared with her fans on Instagram.

Jenner is allegedly jealous of Kendall Jenner’s success with the fashion industry, according to a Hollywood Life report. Kylie feels continuously upstaged by Kendall, 19, due to her modeling success, and it’s tearing the sisters apart, according to the report.

A source told Hollywood Life that Kylie isn’t even interested in modeling at all.

“Kylie has never been interesting in modeling as she feels like that is Kendall’s thing. Still, she will do it from time to time if offered especially if it is artistic and cutting edge. She’s not interested in doing the standard fashion magazine shoot.”

The reason why she modeled in Kanye’s show all makes sense. The younger Jenner sister obviously wants to live the amazing life that her older sister gets to live. She’s having a hard time not feeling jealous of her older sister. Another source told InTouch magazine about the Jenner’s sisters constant bickering.

“Kendall is jet-setting around the world with her celebrity friends, while poor Kylie is at home moping around. She feels like the black sheep of the family and completely left out.”
