Jill Duggar Dillard Baby Shower: ’19 Kids And Counting’ Star Preps For Baby With Husband Derick

Derick Dillard and Jill Duggar’s baby is coming in just a few more weeks, and it looks like the 19 Kids and Counting couple is just about ready. Jill and Derick have been prepping for this big change for some time now, and it looks like they’re letting others help a tad. The happy couple just had a baby shower with Derick’s co-workers, and it looks like they had a great time.

Jill and Derick announced some time back that they were expecting a baby boy, and it’s clear that the gender was incorporated into the baby shower a bit. Derick posted a photo via Instagram showing a very pregnant Jill, who has passed the 33-week mark now, sitting by her hubby and surrounded by loved ones.

Derick thanked his “awesome team” at work for putting on the “unforgettable” baby shower. He added a hashtag indicating that this was the couple’s first baby shower, and most would imagine there will be more ahead yet before “Baby Dilly” arrives.

Derick and Jill are expecting their baby boy’s arrival in March. The new season of 19 Kids and Counting that kicks off on February 17 follows the Dillards throughout the pregnancy. These two have certainly become fan favorites, and viewers can’t wait to see their little guy finally arrive.

The two haven’t said much about a name yet, other than that they don’t plan to do a letter theme like Jill’s parents have done. They said they may go with a focus on family names. Though Jill had indicated that her pregnancy was a challenge early on, it looks like she’s been doing really well lately.

The new season of 19 Kids and Counting will show a lot from Jill’s pregnancy, but viewers will see Jessa Duggar’s wedding to Ben Seewald as well. A 19 Kids spoiler sneak peek showed that while there is a lot of love and happiness this season, there is a big scare with the littlest Duggar sibling.

At one point, Josie will start seizing, and the family rushes her to the hospital. Though fans will have to tune into the show for more details, there’s been no sign via the family’s social media pages that this turned into anything long term.
