Diplo Obsessed With Taylor Swift? Changes Twitter Name To ‘Taylor Spliff’
Diplo seems to be obsessed with Taylor Swift. The music producer changed his Twitter name to “Taylor Spliff” after making amends with the singer. It looks like Diplo and Taylor have buried the hatchet after all.
Swift and Diplo were seen partying the night away at a Grammys after-party on Sunday night. Diplo shared the photo on his Instagram account. Swift was pictured happily drinking a rum and coke. Hopefully the singer didn’t mind that Diplo shared the photo. She loves to keep up her good girl image, especially when it comes to her young fans.
Diplo captioned the photo, “Then this happened @taylorswift vs taylor spliff #grammys2015.”
Radio.com says that Diplo’s caption for the photo was a strange choice of words. The photo shows Taylor in an unflattering shot. Diplo probably used the photo of Taylor to his advantage. For one, she’s enjoying an alcoholic drink in the photo. Taylor usually keeps her image clean when it comes to partying and drinking. She wouldn’t typically share such a photo. Taylor hasn’t even acknowledged the photo on any of her social media accounts.
The Gawker explained why Taylor Swift wouldn’t post such a photo on her account. It seems like Diplo took the unflattering shot to show that she’s not as innocent as she appears to be. But one could say that she’s enjoying an alcoholic drink, just like any other 25-year-old would.

Swift hasn’t responded or acknowledged Diplo’s photo. However, she did repost Sam Smith’s photo of her, in which she looks better in than the Diplo photo.
Shortly after sharing the photo, Diplo then changed his Twitter name to “Taylor Spliff.” According to Urban Dictionary, “spliff” is a term used to describe a joint that’s prepared with both marijuana and tobacco. Is Diplo saying that Taylor drinks and smokes marijuana?
Diplo’s sudden obsession with the singer is obviously strange. His obsession with the singer started back in November. He tweeted, “Someone should make a kickstarter to get Taylor Swift a booty.” Swift stayed quiet, but her best friend Lorde responded, “Should we do something about your tiny penis while we’re at it? Hm.”
Diplo also said that Taylor’s fans are “evil” to GQ Magazine last month. He also hinted that he knows a lot of secrets about the singer. Maybe it’s because Diplo used to date Taylor’s “frenemy,” Katy Perry.
“Taylor Swift is very strategic with her friends and enemies. And I know lots of secrets. I can’t divulge, but I know a lot of stuff about her… And I’m scared. I’m scared for my life.”
Some fans would say that Diplo is obsessed with Swift. Maybe this is her way of getting back at her, by ruining her picture-perfect image. The music producer has now changed his Twitter name to “Giflo” after getting into another online dispute over stealing a woman’s GIF artwork without compensating her. He’s been responding to the controversy with misogynistic insults and Taylor Swift GIFs.
