Justin Bieber Had His Own Fashion Moment At Yeezy’s Adidas Fashion Show
Justin Bieber had his own fashion moment at Mr. Kanye West’s Yeezy Season 1 x Adidas Originals Fall/Winter 2015 show on the first day on New York Fashion Week on Thursday.
The 20-year-old singer-cum-style chameleon channelled Michael Jackson, wearing a red leather, Thriller era jacket, completed by Don Johnson-esque, blondish Miami Vice locks (or Saved By The Bell’s Zack Morris, depending on your age), after rocking up in a Saint Laurent biker jacket from the Fall/Winter 2012 Collection.
He later changed his outfit for the Balmain red nappa leather motorcycle jacket and a pair of Yeezy 750 Boost sneakers, and kept on his black skinny jeans.
In short, apart from the gossamer ‘stache, the Biebs pulled off a perfect, updated, iconic 80’s homage.
But, as it turns out, even Justin’s MJ-homage wasn’t the biggest story to emerge from, or after, the Adidas x Kanye West ‘Yeezy’ show.
No, that was a toss up between U.S. Vogue magazine editor-in-chief Anna Wintour’s face of horror, as baby North West let rip and started crying in Kim Kardashian’s arms while in the front row. Wintour sat next to the mother and daughter.
The other moment went to Toronto’s finest, Drake, stealth-releasing his If You’re Reading This, It’s Too Late mixtape last night. Apart from blasting Tyga to kingdom come, the tape is not only great, it’s been the talk of Twitter since it dropped.
Hours after Kanye’s fashion event, Drizzy hung with Justin at the 1OAK nightclub in NYC, with Rihanna, iLoveMakonnen, and Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs after Diddy and Snoop Dogg’s “Tip-Off” concert before Sunday’s NBA All-Star Game.
But, back to the Yeezy x Adidas show and the stars who came out to play.
Besides Bieber — who arrived with possible (though denied) girlfriend, Hailey Baldwin — royalty showed up in the shape of Jay Z and Beyoncé.
Also sitting in the front row was model-of-the-moment Kendall Jenner, older sister Khloe Kardashian, momager Kris, Diddy, and girlfriend Cassie, Wintour, Kim, and Topshop Jeans new face, Hailey Baildwin, who surely must have taken Bieber’s spot.

Rappers Big Sean and Pusha-T, rocker Pete Wentz, and the “Confident” singer were in the second row.
Complex magazine, who was at the Skylight Clarkson Square Manhattan location, report the grid-formation and near-nude state of some models was a “performance,” as had been promised by West and his team.
After the lights out, the rapper’s monologue began, in which he spoke about his impulse to create for creation’s sake and his desire for “people to feel like awesome is possible!”
Complex reviewed Kanye and Adidas’ future-leaning fabric and softer-designs positively, and went on to note the second half of the show saw West debut a new song featuring Sia and Vic Mensa.
Titled “Wolves,” apparently it will be the first cut from West’s upcoming studio album.
Later, the Biebs posted an Instagram pic with Drake, referring to his just dropped mixtape.
The Hollywood Reporter noted Justin and Hailey left the hot spot together, which will likely ignite dating talk again — even though the model recently said they are “just friends.”
Fashion, stars, music, Justin Bieber, and the rumor mill. A heady mix. Isn’t that why it’s so irresistible?
