Brandon Browner Goes On Twitter Rant About Kanye West
Brandon Browner had a few choice words regarding rapper Kanye West after he interrupted Beck while he was receiving his album of the year award at the Grammy’s on Sunday.
At first, everyone thought Kanye was joking when he took the stage to protest Beck winning the award and suggested that he should give the honor to Beyoncé. If you will remember, West previously pulled a stunt like this at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards when he took the microphone from Taylor Swift and said Beyoncé should have won the award. Apparently, West was not joking and he has, once again, ruffled some feathers.
Browner, of the Super Bowl winning Patriots, took to Twitter to call out Kanye.
“KANYE WEST is a sucka! Everybody don’t listen to Beyoncé. Second time he tried to steal somebody shine. First time it was a 15 yr old girl,” Browner tweeted, and then added, “Kanye try and play that I’m weird because of my genius. Non of the greats pull that stupid ish. Meaning Marley, Mike Jack, Tupac, Jayz etc. Peep who he tried Beck and Taylor Swift. Real tough guy. If only I could’ve been Beck for one night. Kanye would be rapping thru the wire.”

According to Billboard, West had a very good reason for rushing the stage at the awards ceremony. When questioned about his actions, he replied that “the voices in my head told me to go up.”
West did, however, clarify his comments about Beck’s artistry following the Grammys.
“Beck is one of the nicest guys and one of the most respected musicians in the game,” West said. “When I said that thing about respect artistry, I think it came off the wrong way and that was a mis-wording on my part…. Obviously Beck is one of the most respected artists, and respects artistry.”
Thankfully, Beck wasn’t upset about Kanye taking the stage with him. “I was just so excited he was coming up. He deserves to be on stage as much as anybody,” Beck said, according to Us Magazine. “How many great records has he put out in the last five years right?”
