Bobbi Kristina Brown’s Family Plans Public Candlelight Vigil, Breaks Their Silence About Her Condition [Video]

For more than a week, Bobbi Kristina Brown’s family have prayed for a miracle as the 21-year-old lies unresponsive in an intensive care unit. Now they are breaking their silence and asking the public to join them in a candlelight vigil, reported People.

And they are not trying to hide their heartbreak and awareness of what it would take for her to survive, a family member revealed.

“There has been no change [in her condition]. We are hoping that God will see fit to perform a miracle in her, so that he will get the glory.”

The family is planning their candlelight vigil Monday night for Bobbi Kristina. On life support since January 31, she is in a hospital in Atlanta.

Open to the public, the vigil is called “Shining a Light for Healing.” It will be held at the Amphitheater at Riverdale Town Center in Riverdale, Georgia.

And to those who question why the daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown has remained on life support for so long, a family source answers that question.

“Wait and see. Everyone is praying; we have laid hands on Krissi and have been praying for a miracle. I don’t know why that is so controversial. If it were your child, you would do the same thing. Where there is life, there is hope.”

Bobbi Kristina Brown’s cousin, Jerod Brown, posted his own views on his Facebook page. He had previously asked for prayers, using the hashtag #PrayForBK.

“Though doctors may report to the public that opening her eyes is not a good thing or bad thing…#StillPrayForBK Though the media reported she’s in a coma… #StillPrayForBK Though your neighbor may not be hopeful….#StillPrayForBK”

As the Inquisitr reported, Bobbi Kristina Brown’s grandmother has traveled to her bedside, hoping that she can reach the young woman through the power of music.

A source revealed that Cissy Houston, after having gone through the tragedy of burying her daughter, Whitney Houston, is determined to do what she can to reach her granddaughter and empower her to fight for life.

“Cissy is keeping her hands together and hoping for a miracle. She’s hoping something miraculous will happen — anything to wake Krissy up. She thinks the sound of Whitney’s voice will heal Bobbi Kristina.”

Consequently, Cissy has carefully chosen songs that she prays will be the miracle that will cause Bobbi Kristina to recover, a source told Hollywood Life.

“She told a relative of hers to play Nippy’s ‘I Didn’t Know My Own Strength.’ She said, ‘That song powered Nippy (Cissy’s nickname for Whitney) through one of her dark periods, maybe it will help Krissy come back to me.”
