Diplo Makes Up With Taylor Swift At The Grammys
Did Taylor Swift and Diplo make up at the Grammys? The awards ceremony is usually a venue where rivals avoid each other. Last night, the only person Swift was avoiding was Katy Perry. Any other rival of Taylor Swift’s was fair game to make up with.
Diplo, who we’re pretty sure is no longer trying to impress Katy Perry, posed for a picture with the “Shake It Off” singer. If you remember, the DJ inserted himself in the middle of a feud that then-girlfriend Katy Perry had with the songstress.
At the time, Diplo tweeted, “Someone should make a kickstarter to get taylor swift a booty.”
Although Swift didn’t respond to Diplo, it was obvious the DJ found himself in the middle of a pop star war. Swift’s friend Lorde responded to Diplo, which only added fuel to the fire.

“@Diplo should we do something about your tiny penis while we’re at it hm.”
The last of it was when Diplo quoted Lorde’s tweet and said, “[T]he moment u realize she’s a high school student.”
After that, Diplo realized he was way in over his head. Meanwhile, Katy Perry was slowly making her way back to her old flame, John Mayer. In an interview with GQ, he explained the odd Twitter feud and why he feared for his life.
“It sucks for me, because now I have to not be as crazy as I am on the Internet. Which totally sucks, because it’s not going to be fun anymore. But the repercussions are really bad. Like, Taylor Swift fans are really crazy. They threatened to murder me and stuff. It’s really bizarre, and disgusting. They’re the worst people in the world.”
He continued to talk about the enormous fan base she has on Twitter.
“She has like 40 million Twitter fans. Forty million! Yeah. It’s crazy. I’m a fan though. Her powers — she’s big. She’s strong, bro. Taylor Swift is very strategic with her friends and enemies. And I know lots of secrets. I can’t divulge, but I know a lot of stuff about her. And she’s definitely, there’s definitely scary stuff going on. And I’m scared. I’m scared for my life.”
Despite knowing her “secrets,” he seemed fine with posing for a picture with Swift. After the snap was taken, he put it up on his Instagram. Maybe this was his way of warding off Swift’s fans while making nice with Taylor?

Another person who made up with Taylor was none other than Kanye West. The two were all smiles together during the ceremony, but it’s hard to say whether this was before or after West bum rushed the stage when Beck won Album of the Year.
