Katy Perry Will Sit Near Taylor Swift At Grammy Awards
Queen of Pop Katy Perry is set to rule the Grammy Awards on Sunday. After Perry scored the most successful Super Bowl Halftime Show in television history, People reports that Ms. Perry is set to perform with a domestic violence survivor at the Grammy Awards this Sunday.
“Perry will be joined on stage by Brooke Axtell, a domestic violence survivor from Austin, Texas, who will perform a written-word piece during Perry’s Prism ballad ‘By the Grace of God.'”
Axtell is honored to be performing with Katy Perry.
“It’s an honor to collaborate with Katy in this way. She has been very devoted to various aspects of female empowerment. It’s going to bring a lot of encouragement and freedom to those who hear my story and know that they are not alone in this.”
Katy Perry joins a long list of performers this Sunday: Paul McCartney, Madonna, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Kanye West, AC/DC, and many others. But it’s Katy who has Twitter roaring in anticipation for her performance.

Katy Perry might have to mingle with Taylor Swift against her will. The Daily Mail reports that both artists will be sitting very close to each other.
“They’ve been locked in an ongoing feud. But it appears that Katy Perry and rival Taylor Swift will have to endure each other’s presence at this year’s Grammys. The seating plan for the event was revealed on Friday, showing that the two pop stars are both seated in the front row.”
TMZ reveals the main reason behind the Katy Perry and Taylor Swift feud.
“The girl-on-girl war ignited when 3 of Taylor’s dancers jumped ship and joined Katy’s tour. Taylor felt betrayed because she became very close to the dancers and considered them family. But here’s the thing. The 3 dancers had actually worked with Katy first, but when Katy’s tour ended several years ago they needed work. So they signed up as dancers during Taylor’s tour.”
For the past couple of months, Katy Perry and Taylor Swift’s fans have been feuding it out on Twitter. The stan war isn’t half as bad as the stan war between Madonna and Lady Gaga, or even the stan war between Katy Perry and Lady Gaga.
