‘Vampire Diaries’ Preview: Teddy Bears Bite As Nina Dobrev And Ian Somerhalder Bicker [Video]
Although teddy bears sound like sweet, innocent topics, nothing is sweet or innocent on The Vampire Diaries. So when a teddy bear gets involved on Thursday’s episode of The Vampire Diaries, a cute little stuffed animal named Miss Cuddles takes an eerie path to the past, reports People.
The episode is called “The Day I Tried To Live,” and it’s time for Bonnie’s birthday. Just one major problem — she’s stuck in a different dimension. Oops.
So Caroline psychoanalyzes herself and concludes that she’ll feel better about her ill mom and alternative-dimension Bonnie by turning to Miss Cuddles the stuffed bear. But this isn’t just your average toy store bear.

Miss Cuddles herself had a tragic life because Caroline buried the bear after she fought with Bonnie when they were young. Although Caroline succeeded in magicking up a pseudo-Miss Cuddles in the present, she wants the original buried bear.
Who can come to the rescue to help un-bury the bear? Why it’s Stefan, of course.
“You’ve been going through a lot lately,” says the master of the understatement. “Do you think you’re maybe just a little confused about what you’re actually upset about?”
Although Caroline agrees, she also contends that she wants to use her power for retrieving the bedraggled bear.
“My mom’s dying and my best friend is stuck in an alternate universe and her bear is in a hole in the woods and there are only two of those things I can do anything about.”
Others who want to wish Bonnie a happy birthday include Elena, played by Nina Dobrev, and Damon, portrayed by Ian Somerhalder.
But life isn’t just complicated for the characters played by Dobrev and Somerhalder. It’s also sometimes bloody weird for the Vampire Diaries actors, according to Hollywood Life.
Nina is attempting to ignore Ian, and has been slighting him since his engagement to Nikki Reed, said a source. And that complicates matters when Ian is trying to become a director.
“Nina was acting cold towards Ian on set,” revealed the source. “Nina was kinda mean to Ian. He was directing her and moving her around and she would barely answer him.”
And just to add some venom to her actions, Nina posted an Instagram message that may have been directed to Ian.
“Why don’t you tell me that ‘if the girl had been worth having, she’d have waited for you?’ no sir, the girl really worth having won’t wait for anybody,’ by F. Scott Fitzgerald.”
Can you find a clue in some of Ian’s character Damon’s best lines as to the future of those complicated relationships? As the Inquisitr reported, here are some of Damon’s classic quotes.
“I have two liters of soccer mom in the fridge. No? Give my regards to the squirrels.”
“I’m at the Sizzler. I had the buffet.”
“Little mid-service snack. Church always gets me hungry. You know, whole blood of Christ thing.”
