NeNe Leakes Is Considering Leaving ‘RHOA,’ Wants Her Own Spinoff Or A Talk Show Instead
Is NeNe Leakes leaving The Real Housewives Of Atlanta and getting her own spinoff show?
According to Radar Online, the reality star is sick and tired of the drama on Housewives, but she’s not completely done with reality television. NeNe recently said that she wants her own show, a la Caroline Manzo from The Real Housewives Of New Jersey. Recently, the popular reality star spoke out about her hates — and her future on RHOA.
“They’re absolutely jealous. No ifs, ands or buts about that. I feel like girls are purposefully hired to gang up on me – doing exactly what they’re told, like robots. The show has opened up so many doors for me, but it has a negative side. I don’t know if I have the patience for another season – all those women arguing is draining. I’d love a spin-off or talk show. Five years down the road, I hope my entrepreneur-ness is in full bloom. I want to retire young.”
NeNe Leakes has spoken out about the other women on the show, and she seems really over the drama. She admits that each one of them “throw shade,” but that she has kept it real the whole time. According to Reality Tea, Leakes has other things up her sleeve, and it seems like she’s ready to move forward on her own. At the same time, however, she doesn’t seem to regret her time on the show. She said that people talking about her has “helped” her career.
“They talk about me all the time; just let them talk about me. They’re the ones who have been in the business 150 years and still aren’t established! I love it. They’re helping me – they really are. These girls don’t have anything else to do,” NeNe said during a chat with Ryan Carr.
NeNe Leakes has had quite the season on Housewives. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Leakes recently sent Kenya Moore a cease & desist letter, requesting that she stop her verbal assaults. While the two women have undoubtedly had their problems over the years, this season seemed much worse, and NeNe has had enough. This could also be a big reason why she doesn’t want to renew her contract.
At this point, there is no word on whether or not NeNe will be getting her own show, but if she did, would you watch?
