Katy Perry Dating Tim Tebow! No, But the Pop Star’s Parents Can Hope

Now that Katy Perry is official done with Russell Brand, the pop star’s parents are starting to lineup potential suitors. And on top of that list is the mile high messiah Tim Tebow.

Perry’s parents weren’t the biggest fan of Russell. During a sermon Perry’s father said that the divorce was a gift from God (he also talked about the end of the world in 2012 and how Jews are running Hollywood) and that Perry now has the opportunity to find a suitable husband.

According to Perry’s parents, that husband is Tim Tebow. OK Magazine reports that Perry’s parents are pushing for their daughter and the Denver Broncos quarterback to get together.

A friend of the family’s said:

“Katy’s mom firmly believes the best cure for heartache is to quickly fall in love again… In her mind, Tebow is the perfect guy for her daughter. He’s handsome, charming, intelligent and, above all, a good Christian… Katy’s parents watch him play all the time and think he’s ideal husband material… He’s the complete opposite of Russell.”

The Perry’s have reportedly invited Tim to come and speak at their church. No word on if he has accepted the offer, but the Denver Broncos are playing the New England Patriots today so Tebow may have his Sunday free next week.

The NFL Network also believes that Katy Perry and Tim Tebow would be a good match. They even created a picture of what they believe the Perry’s and Tebow’s kid would look like.
