Bobbi Kristina Brown’s ‘Husband’ Fake? Bobby Brown Says Nick Gordon Never Married His Daughter

Bobbi Kristina Brown’s husband, Nick Gordon, apparently just had his marriage status revoked by the family. Bobby Brown officially released a statement via the family lawyer which claims Gordon never actually married his daughter.

In a related report by the Inquisitr, when police searched the house of Bobbi Kristina for the second time, it’s claimed that illegal drugs were discovered. The latest Bobbi Kristina Brown update on her health says she has opened and closed her eyes in addition to being moved to a new hospital.

The tension between Nick Gordon and the Houston/Brown family has been reaching its peak in the last several days. It’s been reported that Georgia police are investigating Gordon for attempted murder, and a brawl even broke out in the hospital.

“There is a lot of tension whenever Nick comes around. He wants to be more involved but the family is basically shutting him out. Bobby and Whitney’s family don’t like him one bit. Aunt Pat and him got into it so bad after Whitney’s death that he even threatened her. Everyone thinks he was just after Whitney’s money and was using Krissy. He bought a bunch of expensive cars and extravagant gifts for himself with Krissy’s inheritance. Nobody there trusts him.”

The exact marriage status of Bobbi Kristina Brown’s husband is also being questioned. Whitney Houston informally adopted Gordon, and the pair once referred to each other as brother and sister. In January, 2014, the two announced they were married, but family members were so upset that Patricia Houston obtained a restraining order against Gordon effective through April 2015.

Now, Bobbi Kristina Brown’s father, Bobby Brown, has officially declared they were never married in the first place.

“We continue to request privacy in this matter. Please allow for our family to deal with this matter and give Bobbi Kristina the love and support she needs at this time,” Bobby Brown said in a statement, according to NBC.

“To correct earlier reports, Bobbi Kristina is not and has never been married to Nick Gordon.”

If worse comes to worse, and Bobbi Kristina Brown’s death is announced, then everyone who is related to Bobbi Kristina will likely be fighting over any inheritance money. Even if they were, in fact, legally married, Bobbi Kristina and Nick Gordon never had a pre-nuptial agreement, so all of her $20 million fortune would go to her husband. If Bobby Brown is correct, and it is legally proven Gordon is not Bobbi’s husband, then presumably Gordon would receive nothing at all.
