Justin Bieber Surprises Burns Survivor Fan Kilee Brookbank On ‘The Doctors’
Justin Bieber is showing the world the side of his personality that’s not often in the news.
The 20-year-old superstar recently surprised a 16-year-old fan, Kilee Brookbank, who was badly burned in a home explosion, with a bunch of flowers on the set of The Doctors.
It turns out, Justin filmed that episode the same day he dropped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show, also with a bouquet of flowers. It airs this Thursday, February 5, and a promo clip is already out.
Justin also posted an Instagram pic from The Doctors episode, which he captioned, “Met this inspiring young lady Kilee! She is so special!”
He’s not wrong. Last November, Kilee suffered burns to over 45 percent of her body in an explosion in her family’s home in Brown County, Ohio.
Officials reportedly believe a gas leak was ignited when Kilee lit a candle to clear out an an unknown odor when she got home from school.
Kilee’s extensive injuries and positive attitude throughout her ordeal and painful treatments inspired her pals to highlight her story and rally for her to meet Justin — her favorite singer — using the hashtag #Kileemeetjb.
According to reports, the brave teen traveled with her family to Paramount Studios in Los Angeles to tape her appearance in a segment of The Doctors.
Paramount Studios spokesperson Andrea McKinnon told press on Tuesday, “In her pre-interview information she revealed he [Bieber] was her favorite singer, and we usually try to do something special for people like her who appear on the show.”
McKinnon added, “She was such a big fan, and he really helped get the word out about her being on the show,”

Of Kilee, Mckinnon said, “After the show airs she can talk all she wants about it. She is a sweet girl and so upbeat after all she had been through.”
Word of Justin’s surprise spread online on Monday after some fans saw a preview, and it’s likely Thursday’s episode will be highly rated.
The Doctors is co-hosted by medical specialists, including Emergency Room physician Dr. Travis Stork and plastic surgeon and reconstructive surgery expert Dr. Andrew Ordon. For information on the show go to thedoctorstv.com.
