WWE News: Backstage Update Says Card For ‘WrestleMania 31’ Could See Drastic Changes
With the controversial ending of the Royal Rumble, Triple H’s huge announcement on Raw, and the big match coming up at Fast Lane – the card for WrestleMania 31 appears to be changing. It certainly seems like nothing is set in stone at this point, and the feeling backstage of WWE is that it’s all up in the air.
One of the biggest things being talked about right now is the main event of WrestleMania and who will be in it. Roman Reigns won the Royal Rumble and the right to face Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Title, but the fans aren’t happy about it.
Now, there is the possibility that Daniel Bryan could go on to main event WrestleMania 31, but how much of one?

WrestleZone is reporting that it is expected to see Reigns keep the title shot over Daniel Bryan by beating him at Fast Lane. With the promo from snowed in Raw between Lesnar and Reigns, those plans may be firmly in place.
If that’s the case, then Bryan will likely move on to the program with Dolph Ziggler that both of them have been pushing for on Twitter along with WWE.

That would then take away the third match in the series between Daniel Bryan and Sheamus, who is expected to return from injury soon. There are still no plans in place for Sheamus then and it leaves his status as unknown, as per Wrestling Inc.
On Raw last night, the seeds were planted for Dean Ambrose to challenge Bad News Barrett for the Intercontinental Title. This match could take place at Fast Lane, but a stipulation may be added for a WrestleMania rematch.
John Cena versus Rusev is still being seen as another WrestleMania match even though the two are scheduled to fight at Fast Lane. The same can be said for Sting taking on Triple H, as the two will come face-to-face at this month’s event.
Bray Wyatt has looked strong for months and looked almost invincible on Raw last night in a win over Dolph Ziggler. Backstage rumors are that the Undertaker will be back to take him on at WrestleMania, and Wyatt’s promo from Monday was him calling Taker out.
There really is nothing officially confirmed by WWE for the card of the big event at this time. Monday night’s Raw set the tone for a lot of possible matches, and that includes one between two brothers and a current tag team.
The Brothers Dust have had tension for a couple of weeks now, but it came to a head on Raw and could lead to a break-up and feud. Is it leading to Goldust’s retirement, though?
WrestleMania 31 is less than two months away and there is a Pay-Per-View in between, but the seeds are planted. The card is being built, and even though nothing is confirmed, many know what is to come.
