Bobbi Kristina Brown Update: Second Police Search Uncovers Narcotics At Atlanta Townhouse

According to the latest online reports, Bobbi Kristina Brown most likely suffered from a drug overdose. Despite the fact that no drugs were found at the residence during the initial police search, illegal narcotics were found during a second, more thorough search.

Police records have already confirmed that the reality TV personality and singer spent at least some of the day with her friend, Maxwell Byron Lomas, who was arrested just a month earlier for allegedly dealing drugs.

The Daily Mail reported that, as the daughter of the late Whitney Houston continues to fight for life in an Atlanta hospital, family sources told reporters that officers had found narcotics at the house.

At this stage, police are pretty sure that a drug overdose is what left Bobbi Kristina Brown in the state she is in, with doctors having put her into an induced coma in an attempt to save her life.

Relatives of the 21-year-old said in a statement on Monday that Bobbi is, “fighting for her life … surrounded by immediate family.”

The awful tragedy comes roughly three years after her mother, Whitney Houston, was found dead in a bathtub at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, and police now fear that Bobbi Kristina Brown may have tried to take her life in a copycat suicide of her mother’s death.

When she was born, Bobbi’s mother, Whitney Houston, told reporters, “Having Bobbi Kristina… I could never do anything that could top that. There’s been nothing more incredible in my life than having her. God knows, I have been in front of millions and millions of people, and that has been incredible, to feel that give-take thing. But, man, when I gave birth to her and when they put her in my arms, I thought: This has got to be it. This is the ultimate. I haven’t experienced anything greater.”

Nevertheless, Bobbi’s childhood has been characterized as “far from easy” as her parents’ drug problems always played a part in her upbringing. On top of that, there was reportedly domestic violence issues which ended in the divorce of her parents when she was 14.

Exactly what happened on the day that Bobbi was found unconscious has yet to be determined. Meanwhile, her family and friends are praying that she makes a speedy recovery despite doctors’ doubts that she may ever regain consciousness.
