Beyonce Launches Vegan Diet Delivery Service After Weight Loss, Becomes Entrepreneur Like Jessica Alba [Video]
Is Beyonce changing careers to become a celebrity entrepreneur? After achieving her weight loss goals with a plant-based food plan, the musical superstar is unveiling her own vegan diet program, according to Hollywood News.
Teaming up with Marco Borges, who founded the 22 Days Nutrition plan, Beyonce explained that she credits him with helping her improve her nutrition.
“I am so grateful that I took the challenge and credit Marco with leading by example… He came up with a great program to get people motivated to make better nutritional choices. All you have to do is try. If I can do it, anyone can. I am excited to partner with him.”
Borges initially inspired both Jay Z and Beyonce to follow a pure vegan diet as part of a cleanse, reported the Examiner. Although he’s known as a fitness trainer, Marco has expanded his 22 Days company to include nutrition bars, and he’s also authored several books.
Other celebrities with whom Borges has worked include Gloria Estefan, Sean “Diddy” Combs, Kanye West, Pharrell Williams, Gwen Stefani, and Shakira. Jay Z and Beyonce both have authored prefaces for his books.
But will Beyonce succeed in competing with other celebrities who have already entered the nutrition business world? Gwyneth Paltrow has managed to carve out a niche for herself as a health entrepreneur, according to Page Six.
However, while Paltrow has worked alone in her Goop enterprise, Beyonce plans to work closely with Borges on her 22 Days Nutrition plant-based home delivery meal service.
And it’s not just Gwyneth with whom Beyonce must compete for a piece of the celebrity business pie. As the Inquisitr reported, Jessica Alba co-founded The Honest Company.
Beyond her own participation in the company, Jessica wants to inspire her children to think outside the box and look for ways to change the world as entrepreneurs.
“I hope they’re inspired to be entrepreneurs. And to really push the envelope on you know what they can do with their life and how they can make an impact.”
For those who wonder whether Beyonce will continue singing in addition to managing the vegan diet delivery company, Alba emphasizes that she has set herself a goal of achieving both.
“Acting is a priority, but when you’re building a company like this, you can’t just check out,” said Jessica. “This is life-changing stuff. This is legacy.”
In addition to Alba, both pregnant Jessica Biel and her husband Justin Timberlake have kick-started their own businesses, as the Inquisitr revealed.
Biel is starting an organic cafe, which also will include options to take food home via an organic bakery. Meanwhile, while Timberlake is maintaining his own singing career, he also has expanded to the tech industry.
