Telltale’s ‘Game Of Thrones’ Episode 2 Launch Trailer Released
The launch trailer for Game of Thrones: A Telltale Series Episode 2 “The Lost Lords” has been released today, via Telltale’s Blog.
As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Game of Thrones’ episodic game series takes place during the events of the HBO show from the end of Season 3 through the start of the upcoming Season 5. You take the role of the members of House Forrester, a minor house in the North who are Bannermen to the Starks. Known for the quality of their Ironwood, House Forrester find themselves in a precarious position thanks to House Bolton assuming power as the Wardens of the North.
Telltale’s series puts you right into some of the most iconic locales in Game of Thrones, including King’s Landing, Essos, and the Wall. From what can be gleaned from the trailer, you will visit all three in the upcoming episode and take the role of Asher, the exiled son of House Forrester, Mira the eldest daughter of Lord and Lady Forrester currently serving as handmaid to Margery Tyrell, and Gared Tuttle, the son of the Castellan sent to the Wall for his protection.

Reprising their roles from the HBO Game of Thrones TV show within the game are Natalie Dormer as Margery Tyrell, Peter Dinklage as Tyrion Lannister, and Kit Harington as Jon Snow. While the game is based on the look and style of HBO’s Game of Thrones, House Forrester does not appear in the show. In fact, they are only barely mentioned within GRR Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire books, which Game of Thrones is based on.
Episode 1 of Telltale’s Game of Thrones met with critical success, with many outlets praising the game for its pacing, style, and maintaining what the television show did so well: offering that twist at the end to keep you pining for the next episode. This episode looks to be more action-heavy than the first, if the trailer is any indication. Players will need to be mindful of the actions of each character they take control of, as those actions will have ripple effects on the other members of House Forrester. Game of Thrones fans will certainly recognize the distinct storytelling style that has made the series so great in the game, as you’ll constantly switch from one perspective to another throughout the episode.
Game of Thrones: A Telltale Game Series Episode 2 “The Lost Lords” will release on PC and PS4/3 on February 3, Xbox One/360 February 4, and Android and iOS devices February 5.
