‘Jesus Christ Alone Is Lord Of Germany!’ Video Goes Viral Of Woman Publicly Rebuking Islam
One of the fastest growing religions in the world is Islam, and it has been spreading throughout Europe rapidly over the past few years. While many European nations celebrate the freedom of religion, one Christian woman in Germany is not at all happy with Muslims encroaching on the territory of Jesus Christ.
According to Charisma News, Heidi Mund appeared at a Muslim imam during a public prayer and yelled, “Jesus Christ alone is Lord of Germany; I break this curse!”
She warned the widely Muslim audience that the service they were holding was “a lie.”
“I was asking Jesus, ‘Lord, shall I go there?’ So, when I have to drive one and half hours, you know, I think, ‘Is it worth it to go or can others go?’ So, this is human laziness, yeah?” Mund said.
Since her bold stance in defense of her religion’s prophet, Jesus Christ, Mund’s actions have generated mixed reactions across the globe. Those in the Christian community consider her declaration of Jesus Christ as Lord as brave, and have even started calling her “Brave German Woman.” Others are not so pleased with her public rebuke of the Islamic faith, going so far as to call her a Christian “Nazi.” But it’s not just Heidi Mund’s affiliation with Jesus Christ that has sparked criticism, but her active membership in the group Passionate Europeans Against the Islamization of the West (PEGIDA).
According to CBN News, PEGIDA has received a lot of backlash for their attempts to put Jesus Christ back into Europe. This past Monday, a PEGIDA demonstration in Frankfurt was protested by thousands of people.
“They threw eggs on us and tomatoes and firecrackers; it was really dangerous,”Mund said.
Despite the controversy, Mund claims she is not afraid of the protesters because she has Jesus Christ on her side. While some might consider Mund’s actions hate speech, she has defended herself by claiming she is doing the work of Christ.
“I would call it a holy anger. And then I rose with my flag and I was calling and proclaiming that Jesus Christ is Lord over Germany… My purpose was, I broke this curse because [Muslims] say, ‘Only Allah is the Lord. He is God, the only God.’ And I broke this curse in this church and I broke it over my country.”
Mund was thrown out of the church shortly after her outburst about Jesus Christ.
“They should have thrown the imam out and not me,” she said, “because I am a believer in Jesus Christ, but he serves another god. This Allah is not the same god. And this is not the truth.”
Do you think Mund was right in declaring Jesus Christ alone as the Lord of Germany? Or do you believe she should have respected the rights of the Muslims to follow someone other than Jesus?
This isn’t the only recent example of Christians claiming Jesus Christ as the sole messiah of a region. Native Americans in the Crow Nation of Indiana recently put up a billboard declaring “Jesus Christ” as Lord over their reservation.
