Bobbi Kristina Brown Dead? Bobby Brown Issues An Update On Whitney Houston’s Daughter
Is Bobbi Kristina Brown dead? Rumors have been flying around about health updates on Whitney Houston’s daughter, and now her father Bobby Brown has an issued a statement on behalf of the family.
[Update] Reports are claiming that Georgia police are investigating husband Nick Gordon as a potential murder suspect in a homicide investigation.
In a related report by the Inquisitr, a family source is saying Bobbi Kristina Brown is alive and in stable condition at the hospital, but there still remains a “mountain of issues” for the doctors to worry about. Other sources are saying almost the exact opposite, claiming that the family is considering removing Bobbi Kristina off of life support in order to end her life.
Some media reports have called Bobbi Kristina Brown brain dead based upon the rumors being spread around. At one point it was even reported that Brown was placed in a medically induced coma due to the brain damage caused by the drowning, which could include potential swelling and inflammation in the brain.
The good news is that these rumors now appear to be false, although it’s also still being claimed that Brown is breathing with the help of a ventilator. It’s said the “machine is aiding” and “she has vital signs,” but despite being “stable at the hospital” she’s still not out of the woods yet.
“Bobbi is being taken good care of by a top team of doctors,” a source said according to E! Online. “Right now, she is still unresponsive. Of course their main concern is getting her better with the hopes that time will help her heal.”
Although Bobbi Kristina Brown’s death has so far been avoided, Bobby Brown also released a statement that did not provide many hopeful details.
“Privacy is requested in this matter,” Bobby said. “Please allow for my family to deal with this matter and give my daughter the love and support she needs at this time. The report that Bobbi Kristina Brown has been taken to the hospital in Atlanta, Georgia is accurate. No additional information will be forthcoming.”
The reason for Bobbi Kristina’s drowning is still being investigated.
“We are interviewing all the family members and friends that were at the house at the time,” a police spokesperson said according to Fox News. “We don’t know that if it was an accident or what this could be.”
Whitney Houston’s death occurred almost three years ago exactly. In that case, Houston’s death was attributed to accidental drowning caused by a combination of cocaine and a heart condition. But Bobbi Kristina’s cousin, Jerod Brown, claims Bobbi Kristina does not do drugs or drink alcohol, and police did not find any illegal drugs when the home was searched. Some reports claim it was possible Brown was depressed over her mother’s death since the 21-year-old had been constantly talking about the anniversary of when her mother died in a bathtub.
