If genes are any indication, both Pippa and Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton will look fabulous when they’re 60. Their slim and sexy mother Carole just celebrated her birthday by joining Kate, Prince William , baby George, Pippa Middleton, and Kate’s famous baby bump on a second honeymoon (known as a “babymoon” when the baby bump is evident), reported People .
At seven months pregnant, Kate beamed as she played on the beach with her family on the posh island resort of Mustique. Just two years ago, she was pregnant with George and visiting the resort with Will for their first babymoon.
But the difference this time is Carole Middleton, with all the attention going to the 60-year-old happy Granny. Kate’s brother and sister James and Pippa celebrated along with their father.
“You feel like you are in another world,” revealed a visitor to the luxury island. “It’s like being in paradise.”
And for a royal family who cherishes its privacy, it’s the perfect spot for a babymoon. A no-fly zone exists, and non-residents can view the beach only from the ocean. Kate and William are also fond of the luxurious villas.
Last year, they stayed at the $21,000 a week Rocina Villa, where they reportedly are relaxing again. Each villa includes one chef, two housekeepers and a gardener. It also includes a 30-foot infinity pool where little George can practice his baby paddle.
With her second baby due in April, this vacation may mark Kate’s last long trip in awhile. And as her mother, Carole Middleton appreciates spending time together and also respects the family’s privacy, according to Hello magazine.
Because of that, Prince William has invited both Carole and Michael to attend church services with Queen Elizabeth and visit Kate at the refurbished Anmer Hall on the Queen’s Sandringham Estate for several weeks. Camilla and Prince Charles also have visited with Carole, and Camilla was charmed by Carole’s interest in fashion and horses.
But even as Carole has adjusted to her daughter’s new status, it’s been a learning curve for Kate Middleton to go from fashion model to fabulous royal mommy as the Inquisitr reported.
The path to becoming Princess Kate began when she modeled for a charity fashion show at St. Andrew’s University, where Prince William initially became enamored. Their dates ranged included a Day-Glo Midnight Roller Disco fundraiser before the royal marriage.
During both her pregnancies, Kate has struggled with severe morning sickness, known as hyperemesis gravidarum. The Honor Society of Nursing (STTI) reports that the acute form of morning sickness occurs in only two percent of pregnant women.
