Kendra Sunderland Video: Oregon State Student Who Filmed Adult Film In School Library Said She Was ‘Bored’

Kendra Sunderland made a porn video in the Oregon State University library and it made her a viral sensation and led to charges of public indecency. Now the 19-year-old is revealing some of the motivation behind why she did it.

Speaking for the first time since her arrest became public, Sunderland said she shot the x-rated movie in the university library because she was “bored.”

In an exchange on Ask.cm, Kendra Sunderland said she made the video during a time in which she was unhappy with school. Records show that she was enrolled in Oregon State during the fall 2014 semester but has since dropped out.

“It wasn’t what I wanted for my life. I was bored there,” she said, via Heavy.com.

Sunderland was enrolled in a human development and family science program, which included a human sexuality course.

Police said that at some point late last year, Kendra Sunderland went to the sixth floor of the Oregon State University library and filmed the racy video. The video was later uploaded to PornHub.com, where it quickly went viral.

But it also attracted the attention of police, who identified Sunderland. On Tuesday she was arrested by State Trooper Christopher Graves.

Graves’ report explains the charges.

“On January 27, 2015 at approximately 2.30pm I was tasked to looking into a complaint of a video of a female that was posted to a pornographic site claiming that the solo act that was being performed occurred in the Oregon State University library.

“I was able to identify the suspect as the female (blanked). The suspect was cited for public indecency and released.”

Now, the Kendra Sunderland video has been shared more than 250,000 times, and Oregon State students said they’ve seen it all over social media.

“My friend sent me a text about it,” student Rich Rogers told KEZI. “At first I thought it was a joke. And then all of a sudden it was like, ‘Oh no, it’s real.’ After I realized it was real, I was more shocked that it happened. That kind of stuff you do in private and not in public. Ever.”

While the video was popular with many students, others were concerned about how Sunderland was able to breach security at the library, which is used by close to 30,000 people a week.

“I was surprised someone was in our library doing that,” student Shelby Wilson told KEZI. “I feel like it’s always packed. I don’t know how anyone could get away with it.”

After the arrest, the Kendra Sunderland video was taken down from PornHub.com, but mirror copies have been uploaded to a number of other sites.
