Katy Perry Talks About Taylor Swift Feud Before Super Bowl Performance
Is Katy Perry going to unleash a major diss at Taylor Swift during her Super Bowl performance? That’s what some sources have been saying leading up to the performance. Now Katy Perry is finally talking about the feud and her performance.
While we don’t know if she’s going to shoot a major diss at Swift, Perry did say something really interesting that leads us to believe she will, in fact, diss Taylor.
“If somebody is trying to defame my character. You’re going to hear about it.”
Now, we don’t know if that means the “you” that she’s referring to is herself, or the audience that will be watching her halftime show during the Super Bowl. What we do know is that Katy Perry is pretty confident about her performance.
A few days ago, she joked around about a “leak” to her upcoming performance, but that was just to rile up fans after the rumors started to swirl.

When asked about her performance, the singer teased that it would feature “a lion and sharks.”
Perry, who’s hitting the stage with Lenny Kravitz, said of the performance, “When you hear the first ring of the chord, I think jaws will drop and faces will melt.”
As for her feud with Taylor Swift, it looks like John Mayer is the center of their initial disagreement, but things really heated up when Swift released the song “Bad Blood” off of her album 1989. Swift wasn’t silent about what the song is about.
According to the singer, it’s about a mean girl. She called the subject a “straight-up enemy” and claimed the person “did something so horrible.” After Perry got wind of that, she tweeted, “Watch out for the Regina George in sheep’s clothing…” which was directed at Swift.
Diplo, Katy Perry’s on-again off-again boyfriend, had tweeted about Taylor Swift, and to his surprise, he felt the legions of fans come down on him using Twitter.

In an interview with GQ, Diplo said he knows Taylor’s secrets.
“I can’t divulge, but I know a lot of stuff about her. And she’s definitely, there’s definitely scary stuff going on. And I’m scared. I’m scared for my life.”
