Jillian Michaels Matched With A Baby For Adoption

Former Biggest Loser personal trainer Jillian Michaels has announced that she has been matched with a child to adopt. Michaels revealed in 2010 that her family would be her main focus, she then left her hit show shortly afterwards.

Michael’s began the adoption process in the Democratic Republic of Congo and then told Access Hollywood Live:

“I’ve been matched with a little girl,” while adding, “I went over to visit orphanages and I ended up falling in love with this little girl, and by the grace of God, I got matched up with her.”

While Michaels is ecstatic at the opportunity to adopt the 37-year-old fitness guru is well aware that the adoption process is far from over and could still be met with hurdles.

“I now have to get her home … it could take up to a year to get her home,” she says. ”Anything can happen and fall through or fall apart, so it’s kind of premature for me to say it, but that’s where it’s at.”

Talking about the possibility for a failed adoption Jillian Michaels says she’ll be “devastated” and wouldn’t come out of her house “for months.”
