NeNe Leakes Sends Kenya Moore Cease And Desist Letter [Photo]
Kenya Moore is on NeNe Leakes’ last nerve and the Real Housewives of Atlanta star is doing something about it. The feud heats up between the reality TV stars as Kenya receives a cease and desist letter from NeNe’s attorneys.
Moore took to Instagram Tuesday night to share with the world what Leakes sent her as a surprise birthday gift — a cease and desist letter demanding Kenya stop with her verbal assaults against NeNe in all ways, shapes and forms, including face-to-face, the Bravo blogs, social media and TV.
“You are hereby directed to cease and desist making any and all false and defamatory statements, which are injurious to her character and reputation.”
Keny Moore being served a cease and desist letter from NeNe Leakes, first reported by Reality Tea, seemed to be a surprise to the RHOA star and she is not taking too kindly to it, as evidenced by her caption on the photo.
“I guess this is @neneleakes way of saying happy birthday #RHOA #HypocrasyAtItsBest #byegirl #SheTriedIt #SoNastySoRude.”
Although the two have had issues in the past, Kenya has taken it up a notch during this season of the RHOA by referring to NeNe as “beast, ghetto, classless” at every opportunity. Leakes has done her fair share of badmouthing Moore, however. As NY Daily News points out, after last season, NeNe took shots at the former beauty queen.
“I think Kenya’s great for the show. If they’re looking for the dark side, they’re looking for negativity, fighting, provoking, delusionalness, if that’s what they’re looking for, she’s 100 percent excellent for the show.”
NeNe initiating legal action against Kenya may come as a bit of a surprise, even though the Broadway star has been hinting for some time now that she is tired of the negativity and drama coming from her cast mates on the Real Housewives of Atlanta, who, she insists, are jealous of her success.
Leakes sending Moore a cease and desist letter begs the question of whether this will open the door for other stars of the show to follow suit. Since some of the other Housewives have accused Porsha Williams of being a mini-NeNe, will she follow suit in taking legal action, as she seems to be a target of both Claudia Jordan and Kenya Moore this season?
It will be interesting to note whose team Bravo producers will choose. Will NeNe Leakes lose her coveted position of queen of the RHOA because of the letter? Will Kenya Moore be kicked off the show for going too far?
