WWE News: Daniel Bryan Acts Very Strangely After ‘Royal Rumble,’ Is He Done? WWE Legend Not Happy With Elimination
A lot has happened since the ending of the Royal Rumble on Sunday evening. Thousands have cancelled their WWE Network account. Both Raw and SmackDown have been postponed. There is a lot of backlash over the Roman Reigns win and the fact that Daniel Bryan was eliminated so quickly. Now, Bryan is acting strange, and fans wonder if he’s done with WWE.
Daniel Bryan was hardly in the match for 10 minutes before being eliminated by Bray Wyatt, and fans then took it out on the rest of the match. WrestleZone heard from a fan at the event who said Bryan was acting very weird after his elimination.
The report actually comes from Shaheen, co-host of The Hot Tag Podcast, who said Bryan interacted with no fans once he was out of the match.
“Not exactly sure what happened, but we were near backstage and he walked right by all of us. We said hello and he paused, looked at us with a blank stare and then walked off. He looked super p**sed and completely ignored all of is. It was very awkward to say the least.”
Now, perhaps Daniel Bryan was meant to act upset, and he should have been. Not only was this his chance to headline WrestleMania 31, but he barely spent any time in a huge match. Still, Shaheen believes there was more to it.
“I know people will want to believe that he was just ‘selling’ it, but it was strange. I’d like to think that I have a pretty good understanding of kayfabe and this seemed legit. He wasn’t selling anything. There were 10 of us there and he really came off like an a**hole, which is really unusual for Bryan.”
No matter what, Bryan was eliminated and taken out of the Rumble match in a hurry. Still, it was on Monday that things got even stranger. On Monday afternoon, Daniel Bryan hopped on Twitter and thanked all his fans in a somewhat cryptic way.
Thanks to all of you for your support, not just last night but for years. You guys are the best, and I am truly the luckiest man alive.

It’s understandable to thank the fans who backed him during his injury and after his quick elimination. The strange part is thanking them for “years.” Some are seeing it as a sign that he’s not happy and may move on from WWE, but others think he is just grateful.
For now, WrestleZone states that there are no plans to add him to the main event at WrestleMania 31. That’s even with a WWE Legend reportedly being very upset backstage when Bryan got eliminated from the rumble match.
It is said that even though Roman Reigns won the match, The Rock, who is his cousin, was not happy backstage. Some believe it had to do with Bryan’s elimination and how the crowd received both himself and Reigns.
Daniel Bryan’s early elimination from the Royal Rumble not only shocked a lot of people, but it angered even more. WWE has two months until the biggest event of the year, and it will be interesting to see what is done to appease the hordes of frustrated fans.
