Phaedra Parks Weight Loss: ‘Real Housewives Of Atlanta’ Star Undergoes Big Transformation After Ditching Husband Apollo Nida
Phaedra Parks has put the troubled relationship with husband Apollo Nida behind her, and now the Real Housewives of Atlanta star is working on bettering herself with a complete transformation.
The reality star just did a photo shoot with celebrity stylist Shun Melson, showing off her newly trim figure. For the past year, Phaedra has been a spokeswoman for the weight loss supplement Xenadrine, and it appears that she’s taking it diligently.
Phaedra has more than just Xenadrine in her favor. She also attributes her body transformation to frequenting Gym Juice in Atlanta, where she is also a spokeswoman for their line of juices.
Part of Phaedra’s focus on herself also includes taking the pressure off a bit. She recently put out an announcement on Facebook looking for an intern:
Are you smart? A quick learner? Great communicator? Enthusiastic? Motivated? If you answered yes to these questions, apply today for Phaedra’s summer internship program. Send your resume and cover letter to internwithphaedra@gmail.com. ?#?InternWithPhaedra?
It appears that Phaedra’s focus on herself started when she ditched husband Apollo Nida. Phaedra announced last year that she was divorcing Apollo, just after he was sentenced to prison for a fraud conviction.
Not long afterward Phaedra sold the Atlanta house they once shared, as TMZ reported earlier this month:
“Phaedra Parks is way better with money than convicted hubby Apollo Nida… she raked in major dough selling one of her Georgia homes.”
“Sources close to Phaedra tell TMZ she scored over $27K in profit when she sold her 9,148 sq-ft home last fall — a huge financial boost when you consider Apollo had just started his 8-year prison stretch for money laundering and check fraud.”
While Phaedra Parks has been working on bettering herself both physically and financially, Apollo Nida may be making things difficult. He recently spoke to In Touch Weekly, saying he would not go down without a fight in the divorce proceedings.
