Joseph Duggar And Tori Bates Courting? Joseph Moves Just 30 Minutes Away From Bates Family
Many fans of the Duggars and Bates have been patiently waiting for a Duggar-Bates courtship. The fans hoping for a Duggar and Bates match up may be in luck. Joseph Duggar has moved just 30 minutes away from the Bates family after spending significant time earlier in the year at the Bates family home.
According to the Duggar Family Blog, on January 20 Joseph Duggar turned 20-years-old. In honor of the big birthday, Jim Bob Duggar announced via the family’s official facebook page that Joseph has begun attending college in Knoxville, Tennessee. The post noted that Joseph is a “diligent young man” who wakes up each morning at 5 a.m. to pray and study the Bible.
“Jim Bob decided he wanted to do his own post for Joseph’s birthday! So from dad: Joseph turned 20 on the 20th! He is such a great, diligent young man. He typically gets up early at 5 am and prays and studies his Bible for over an hour. Joseph has just started going to Crown Bible College in Knoxville, Tennessee. He loves teaching and discipling young men, encouraging them to make wise choices in their lives. God is going to use Joseph in a mighty way to share His love and Bible principles to today’s world! We are very pleased with his choices so far. We love you, son.”
The Duggar Family Blog notes that Knoxville is 10 hours away from his home in Arkansas, but that he is a mere 30 minutes from the Bates Family. As the Inquisitr previously reported, this is the first time that the Duggar family has had a child leave home to attend college. However, could there be another reason that Joseph chose to attend college in Knoxville so close to the Bates family?
The move has left many fans speculating that the young Duggar may be looking to court one of the Bates daughters. The pairing would make sense as the families are both close and follow similar views on courting and religion. So which lucky Bates girl may Joseph have his eye on?
If you look at the ages and courting/marriage status of each of the Bates girls, it seems that the most likely match would be with Tori Bates. According to Tori’s UP profile she is 19-years-old and not currently courting.
“Tori is a bubbly extrovert and loves nothing more than doing anything and everything outdoors. This includes activities such as biking and hiking to camping and horseback riding. When she’s not at Crown College of the Bible, she’s either watching her brothers play basketball or dreaming up a foreign country to visit.”
Note that Tori currently attends the same college as Joseph. Could there be love in the air? Time will only tell as the Duggars nor the Bates have made an official announcement about the pair; however, many Duggar and Bates fans across the globe will be jumping with joy should the announcement be made.
