‘Bachelorette’ Honeymoon: Desiree Hartsock And Chris Siegfried Hit Hawaii After Wedding
Desiree Hartsock married Chris Siegfried last weekend, and now details are out regarding the Bachelorette couple’s honeymoon. Where did Desiree and Chris head after their nuptials? It seems they were in the mood for sunshine and relaxation, and decided to spend their honeymoon in Hawaii.
Us Weekly shares that Desiree and Chris debated between Fiji and Hawaii for their honeymoon spot, but ultimately decided on Hawaii. Hartsock said that they felt they really couldn’t go wrong with either choice, but they wanted someplace where they could embrace a bit of adventure, as well as relaxation, and to them, Hawaii fit the bill.
Insiders say that Des and Chris have been paddleboarding in the mornings and took a sunset cruise one evening. They’ve had a couples massage and naturally have spent some afternoons lounging at the beach. Desiree did share one photo via Instagram of a sunset during the big week of their wedding and honeymoon, and she added a hashtag indicating that life is beautiful.
Bachelorette fans know that Hartsock designed the two gowns she wore for her big day and People shares some photos. One of Desiree’s gowns had a buzzworthy train and the other had a more sleek design. The two married in Palos Verdes, California, on Sunday, January 18.

Though the wedding was not taped by ABC, there were many familiar Bachelor and Bachelorette folks there. Brooks Forester, Alis Fedotowsky, Zak Waddell, Jason and Molly Mesnick, and Daniella McBride were all said to be on-hand to celebrate the big day.
Desiree and Chris have been happily living together in Seattle since the finale of their Bachelorette season aired. Though the ending was a shocker for many fans, the two have faced little drama since then. Many are disappointed that they didn’t get an ABC special to be able to share in Chris and Desiree’s big day, but they are glad the two are sharing some pictures and details via the media.
