Activision and Sledgehammer Games, the two company’s behind Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare , have released a new trailer for the upcoming Havoc DLC that’s scheduled to be released next week.
The Havoc DLC, which is available for purchase separately or as part of the Advanced Warfare season pass, is scheduled for a January 27 release on Xbox Live (Xbox One and Xbox 360). Other platforms, such as PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PC will receive the Havoc update following Xbox Live’s release.
In the new zombies mode, Exo Zombies, four untrained and ill prepared employees of Atlas must survive an onslaught of zombies, a new breed of zombies. The uprising includes a form of demonic hell hounds, or zombie dogs.
Call of Duty’s Exo Zombies mode for Advanced Warfare stars celebrities Rose McGowan, Bill Paxton, John Bernthal, and John Malkovich. At the end of the trailer, Malkovich can be heard saying that he hates the Atlas Corporation. Players in the co-op mode of ExoZombies will play as these actors, all of whom are animated and have contributed their voices to the game.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare was 2014’s best selling video game, according to Forbes .
Game Spot’s Eddie Makuch described the new undead enemies as having “ super-abilities ,” which he said “should add to the challenge of bringing them down.” He also referenced the closing remark made by Malkovich’s character as “a great one-liner.”
Unlike other Call of Duty zombies, the new ones in Exo are equipped with the same exoskeleton suits that players wear in the game, ComingSoon.net reported.
In an article published on Kotaku regarding the best actor in the Exo Zombie trailer, Mike Fahey wrote, “John Maklovich might take any acting role put in front of him, but he takes them hard.”

The “lion’s share” of the million dollar prize will be awarded to the winning team.
