Desiree Hartsock And Chris Siegfried’s ‘Bachelorette’ Wedding: Molly And Jason Mesnick Attend
Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried gave fans a major surprise when they, via their representative, announced to the media that they got married on Sunday, Jan. 18. The couple, who met and got engaged on The Bachelorette, confirmed to Us Weekly that they married Sunday in Palos Verdes, California.
After news broke of the Bachelorette wedding, both posted tweets that expressed how happy they are. Chris, a football fanatic, had an especially great day on Sunday since not only did he marry Desiree, his football team, the Seattle Seahawks, won their game to secure a spot in the Super Bowl.
Chris tweeted his happiness over a Seahawks win and marriage to his “best friend” Desiree on the same day. Desiree tweeted that she “couldn’t be happier” to be “officially a Mrs.”
Two people who attended the Bachelorette wedding were Molly and Jason Mesnick, a fellow couple from the franchise who often hang out with Desiree and Chris since they also live in Seattle. The day after the wedding, Molly wrote how great it was to spend a weekend away celebrating the love between their “dear friends.” She posted a photo of her and Jason in their wedding guest attire.
As previously reported by the Inquisitr, the couple had said that Molly would be a bridesmaid at the wedding, wearing a fuchsia-berry colored dress. Either Molly’s bridesmaid designation was changed for some reason, or she simply changed into a second dress for the reception.
Another person who may have attended the Bachelorette wedding is Ali Fedotowsky, a former The Bachelor and The Bachelorette star herself. A day after the wedding, Ali, who attended Desiree’s bridal shower about two months ago, posted a photo of herself all dressed up in Southern California.

Unfortunately, one person who probably didn’t make the wedding was Renee Oteri. Renee, who was one of the final four in Juan Pablo Galavis’ season of The Bachelor, became friends with Chris and Desiree after she moved to Seattle to be with her love, Bracy Maynard. Desiree was even one of the two witnesses at Renee’s wedding to Bracy and threw her baby shower.
Renee gave birth to her second child, a son named Jax Bracy, just days before Chris and Desiree’s wedding. Renee recently posted a photo of her new child.

Mike Fleiss, the creator and producer of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, tweeted congrats to Chris and Desiree. He called them “a great couple” and told them that they are loved. While the couple may be loved by the Bachelor family, they are apparently less loved by the network that airs the franchise, ABC.
In an interview with Puget Sound Business Journal in October 2014, Chris revealed that he and Desiree would have loved to have their wedding air on TV but ABC passed on the opportunity because they didn’t think it would be “cost effective” for the network.
While ABC passed on televising the Bachelorette wedding, Chris Siegfried and Desiree Hartsock’s fans will get to see photos of the big day in the upcoming issue of Us Weekly. Since Desiree has a wedding and lifestyle blog, she will also likely post photos, videos, and details there as well.
