Black Eyed Peas Reunite, Working On New Album And Tour

2015 might end up becoming “The Year of the Black Eyed Peas.”

Radar Online confirms that the popular rap group, featuring Will.i.am and Fergie, have reunited and are getting back to work.

According to the report, an inside source claims that the Black Eyed Peas are already working on a new album together and making plans for a tour to promote that highly-anticipated album.

“They have already started working on their new material and will be doing a tour together following the release of their first album… They are all extremely excited and have so much material to do an insanely amazing album. People are going to love it!”

Even though a date for their album has not been officially released yet, the insider claims that it is definitely being made, and all of the original Black Eyed Peas members are expected to return – including Taboo and Apl.de.ap.

Nearly five years ago, reports started circulating about Fergie leaving the Black Eyed Peas to focus on starting a family with her husband, Transformers actor Josh Duhamel.

The “Fergalicious” singer achieved that goal when she gave birth to her son, Axl Jack. Fergie has already returned to the Billboard charts since having her baby with her hit solo single, “L.A. Love.” Fergie is also reportedly working hard on another album to capitalize on the success of that single.

Many fans and critics may think, then, that it was only a matter of time before the Black Eyed Peas reunited with the goal of making another hit album together. According to Radar, that time is now.

To say that the Black Eyed Peas were a successful group could very well be considered a major understatement, especially since the group sold over 35 million albums and over 41 million singles. Out of their 15 Grammy nominations, the group was able to collect six wins.

However, the music industry has definitely changed a lot in the past five years since their last studio album, The Beginning, was first released.
