JC Chasez Saves Baby From Helicopter Accident
Former ‘NSync member and current America’s Best Dance Crew judge JC Chasez played the hero on New Year’s Day when he potentially saved the life of a 1-year-old baby.
Chasez was spending some time on a Miami Beach when a helicopter flying too close to the ground sent a beach umbrella flying across the sand.
The umbrella reportedly flew towards little Shirel and her mom Netali Nissim. Realizing the umbrella had the potential to hurt the child Chasez reached for it and secured it before harm could come to the baby.
Speaking to PEOPLE Nissim said of the boy band members quick reaction:
“Shirel is safe because of him,” and “I want to tell him thank you from the bottom of my heart. If it had not been for him, my daughter could have been seriously hurt.”
JC Chasez, 35, was vacationing with his girlfriend Nicole on a beach adjacent to the Fontainebleau where the helicopter kicked up the high winds.
After grabbing the umbrella other guests on the beach say he was “sweet and humble” about the good dead he had just performed.
That’s not a bad day for a guy who recorded the song All Day Long I Dream About Sex:
