Jessa Duggar Has Babies On The Brain, Attends Anti-Abortion Rally In Arkansas
Jessa Duggar wants her fans to know that she’s proudly anti-choice.
Rumors that Jessa is already pregnant have not been confirmed, but the 19 Kids and Counting star definitely had babies on the brain this weekend. On Sunday, the Duggar daughter shared an Instagram post letting her fans know that she was going to protest women’s reproductive rights by attending the March for Life in Little Rock, Arkansas.

According to THV 11, Arkansas Right to Life holds the March for Life to mark the anniversary of Roe v. Wade. Anti-choicers like Jessa Duggar and husband Ben Seewald attend the event to protest legalized abortion.

The Duggar Family News Facebook page also shared a few photos from the March for Life, including one of Jessa and Ben Seewald posing with a fan.
It’s no secret that Jessa Duggar and her family members aren’t fans of abortion. As the Inquisitr previously reported, Jessa once compared abortion to the Holocaust in an Instagram post that upset many of her fans. According to Starcasm, she was likely mimicking her mother by making this comparison — at an event in Tennessee, Michelle Duggar used the term “baby holocaust” while talking about abortion.
Jessa Duggar doesn’t currently have a job, so it looks like she’s spending her free time getting more involved in politics. She recently attended the inaugural ball of Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson, one of the politicians who attended the March for Life event.
Jessa and her husband also posed for a photo with anti-choice GOP presidential hopeful Mike Huckabee at Hutchinson’s inaugural ball. The Duggars reportedly want Huckabee to run for president, and it’s not hard to see why they are such big supporters of the former Arkansas governor — he also likes to compare abortion to atrocities that the medical procedure has absolutely nothing in common with. According to the Huffington Post, he has compared abortion to slavery multiple times.
Right now, Ben Seewald is working for Jim Bob doing yard work, but maybe he and his wife are attending all these political events because he wants to score a D.C. job similar to Josh Duggar’s position with the Family Research Council — Josh’s job does involve spending a lot of time attending anti-choice events. According to the Duggar Family Blog, he’s set to speak at ProLifeCon 2015 on January 22. That same day, he’ll attend the March for Life Breakfast Reception with Rick Santorum, and he’ll participate in the March for Life at the National Mall in D.C.
The Duggars might want to completely abolish abortion, but they’ll never be able to save every embryo. Interestingly, a recent Raw Story article points out that Quiverfull movement followers like Michelle Duggar actually kill the most embryos during their quests to stay perpetually pregnant.
“Most fertilized eggs spontaneously abort during the first weeks of life,” Valerie Tarico writes.
“Estimates of death before implantation range as high as 80 percent and bottom out around 45. More than thirty percent of those that do implant later die on the vine … Based on the live births that Michelle Duggar delivered, we might estimate that Michelle and her man-on-a-mission flushed somewhere between 17 and 75 precious little bundles of joy in order to get the herd they have.”
Tarico points out that “top tier contraceptives, including the IUDs so hated by the Hobby Lobbyists, prevent more egg death daily than every pro-life picketer in America combined.”
This is something for Jessa Duggar to think about while she does her family planning.
