Does ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Star Scheana Marie Still Work At SUR Lounge?
Vanderpump Rules star Scheana Marie has worked for Lisa Vanderpump for several years now, and from the looks of things, she’s not going to stop anytime soon.
On Twitter, Marie confirmed she’s still working at West Hollywood’s SUR Lounge, where Vanderpump Rules has been shot for the last few seasons.
After a fan asked Scheana, “Do you still work at SUR?” on January 15, she replied, “Yep!”
Although one might assume Vanderpump Rules star Scheana Marie, who is currently working on her singing career, would be looking for something that pays a little better, she’s making plenty. As the Inquisitr reported last month, she recently denied a report, which claimed she and her Vanderpump Rules co-stars are making just $5,000 per episode of the show.
In a message to TMZ, which made the incorrect claim, Scheana wrote, “Main cast makes more than that per ep. We love doing #PumpRules -keep watching us Mondays! Let’s hope for a 4th season! @lisavanderpump.”
Vanderpump weighed in, as well, telling the site they make “waaaayyyy more…guys get it right!”
While Vanderpump Rules star Scheana Marie and the rest of the cast reportedly wrapped filming on season three in fall 2014, the network chose to add episodes to the season, and they resumed filming last month.
Jax Taylor revealed the news on Twitter on December 1.
“Looks like my NYC trip is cut short thanks to our amazing fans they added more episodes, so heading back to LA to film tomorrow. #PumpRules.”
Throughout season three, fans have seen a lot of Scheana. Not only did she film at the restaurant, she also hosted a fun bachelor/bachelorette weekend for the cast in Miami. Unfortunately, her former friend, Kristen Doute, caused some drama.
In her Bravo blog on Monday, Scheana opened up about her feelings on Doute’s behavior.
“So Miami was fun.. A lot of alcohol and not a lot of sleep, but still SO much fun. The one thing that almost ruined everyone’s trip was Kristen, and I see that now watching it back. It was really hard for me to watch my best friend cry and to know I had no idea what was going on inside of her. Yes, that weekend for me was filled with unicorns and penis straws. I was oblivious to all of the negative passive aggressive comments. I probably shouldn’t have let Kristen come. I know that and everyone continues to remind me of it, however at the time Kristen and I were still close. Despite what she did at my birthday party, I forgave her. I thought this could be a trip where she could prove to me I could be friends with her as well as Ariana and all learn to co exist like mature adults. Guess I was wrong again.”
