‘Mortal Kombat X’ Trailer Revealed To Show New Gameplay – Goro Lives
Everyone knew that trailer for Mortal Kombat X was coming today, but they may not have known what would be in it. The gameplay is incredible. The graphics are amazing. The moves and fatalities are grotesque and awesome. Oh yes, and someone is back from the dead as the monster Goro will return.
It’s not like anything extra was going to be needed to build up the hype for the game, but the inclusion and shots of old characters really has everyone excited.

The trailer for Mortal Kombat X focuses on Kung Lao and Kitana battling it out, per Shoryuken. It’s been known for a while that Kung Lao would return from the dead for the game, but it looks as if he has improved upon his deadly hat a bit. In the trailer, there are certainly a lot of surprises and unexpected things such as the pure graphic nature of some of the new moves. Yes, Mortal Kombat games have always crossed the line, but fans will love that this one left it far behind. There is also a scene that shows Kano being attacked and brutalized by someone that may or may not be Kitana.

One of the biggest surprises comes at the end of the Mortal Kombat X trailer when one big dude walks out of the darkness and cracks his knuckles. As VG247 points out, those that pre-order the game will get Goro for free.
Yes, Goro lives.
As you can see, the fatalities look to be some of the most graphic and brutal ever in a Mortal Kombat game, and this is only the beginning.
Kitana’s fatality is cool but Kung Lao’s fatality is the real fatality that everyone wants to see. #MortalKombatX

It is expected that individual character trailers will come out soon, and fans can bet they will be as impressive as this. Anyone with a PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC will be able to play this when it drops.
Unfortunately, there is still no release date (other than the rumored April 14) for Mortal Kombat X even with the trailer being unveiled and the revelation of Goro. Now, there is so much more that has been seen from the game, but a lot is still not known and it appears as if Ed Boon will keep everyone in the dark for a while longer…as usual.
