‘RHOA’ Star Kenya Moore Has Message For Star Who Refused Picture: ‘Girl Bye’

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore attended the Golden Globes this past weekend and she was ready to bond and make some connections. Kenya didn’t post too many messages on Twitter other than her own red carpet picture, but it sounds like the details are slowly emerging this week. And while Moore was hoping to bond and connect with the stars, it appears that things didn’t go as expected.

After returning home, Kenya Moore revealed that she had met Taylor Swift and that she was indeed the sweetest person. But while Kenya was sharing her thoughts about the celebrities she met, she called out Lupita Nyong’o, the Oscar winner who took home the award for her performance in 12 Years a Slave.

According to a new Bravo report, The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore had supposedly asked Lupita for a picture, but the award-winning star declined. And it appears that Moore’s ego was hurt by the rejection, because she had a message for her that she shared on Twitter.

“@Lupita_Nyongo refused 2 take pics After 2 movies #girlbye” Kenya Moore tweeted, without explaining what the two-movies reference was all about.

Of course, the “girl bye” comment is often used by the Real Housewives of Atlanta cast members in very aggressive manner, so many felt that Moore was slamming the actress and throwing some shade her way. It was as if she couldn’t handle that this actress didn’t want to take pictures with her.

“You called Lupita out, hunny!! Kenya don’t play. Did you shade her?” one follower asked Kenya, to which Moore replied, “no I was a huge fan!!! There were 1000 A listers being humble it was disappointing that’s all. I want 2 always stay humble.”

But Kenya Moore wasn’t the only person who was at the Golden Globes from the Bravo family. Moore was joined by NeNe Leakes and Brandi Glanville, who were both posing for pictures on the red carpet. Apparently, NBC had a relevant event to the Globes, which was why these Bravo stars were there.

According to the Inquisitr, Kenya Moore has had quite the year. She appeared on three separate television shows in a single night just a few weeks ago. Kenya was on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Celebrity Apprentice, and then wrapped up the night with Watch What Happens Live.

What do you think about Kenya Moore’s comments to award winner Lupita Nyong’o? Why do you think it was necessary for Moore to call her out?
