‘Wannabe?’ Justin Bieber & Rolling Stones’ Keith Richards Swapped F-Bombs And Numbers In Bar
Another day, another probably embellished Justin Bieber story. This one involves Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards.
Intrigued?
According to Us Weekly, Justin was kicking back at a beach bar at the resort on the private Parrot Cay island in Turks and Caicos over the New Year holiday, when an older man who was drinking turned and asked the singer who he was.
An alleged eyewitnesses told the magazine, “There was an old guy throwing back drinks who said, ‘Who the f–k are you?'”
To which a seemingly put out Justin allegedly replied, “I don’t know, who the f–k are you?”
Apparently, the 71-year-old Brit was so tickled by the Canadian’s sassy comeback that he smiled and told the Biebs, “You’re a man. I respect that,” before walking away, or should that be stumbled off?
Shortly after, it is claimed a lackey was sent over by the older star to invite Justin to join Richards for a drink.
The source continued, “Another old guy and came over and told Justin, ‘Keith Richards wants to have a drink with you.'”
As realization dawned on exactly who the older gent was, it’s claimed Justin accepted the offer after saying, “Oh, s–t! That was Keith Richards?”
The odd couple then hung out at the legend’s table. The insider supposedly then revealed, “Justin tried to bro down with him,” and alleged Richards told the heartthrob, “Let’s get one thing straight. You’re a wannabe.”
Was that the deal-breaker for Richards’ and Bieber’s bar summit? As it happens, no.
The two chatted and even “swapped numbers” to keep in touch, prompting Justin to recall his encounter with Keith as “the best night ever.”
Hmm. Odd that the selfie king didn’t post a pic of this alleged event. But, why quibble?
In fact, Richards isn’t the only Rolling Stone Bieber has met.
Back in October, during an ill-fated Paris Fashion Week trip — after which the “Confident” singer split from on-and-off girlfriend Selena Gomez, who flew back to Los Angeles — the Biebs stayed on in the City of Lights and met Sir Mick Jagger and Lenny Kravitz at a club.
After posing with the two veterans, the awestruck 20-year-old posted a Instagram snap of the trio, captioned, “Legends.”
In the shot, Jagger and Kravitz huddled with Bieber.
So that’s two Rolling Stones’ members Bieber has met. Not bad for a so-called “wannabe” who’s worth over $200 million, delivered five Billboard No. 1 albums before the age of 19, has won a stack on music industry awards, and starred in the highest grossing concert movie of all time.
