Did Kristin Chenoweth Diss Her Ex Dana Brunetti After ‘House Of Cards’ Lost At The Golden Globes?
Did Kristin Chenoweth diss her ex, Dana Brunetti, at the Golden Globes? We wouldn’t be surprised. The Golden Globes brought out the shade in plenty of people on Sunday night; just ask Maggie Gyllenhaal and the blatant eye rolling she received from her fellow nominees.
That said, Kristin Chenoweth is normally very upbeat and funny. Did she seriously diss her ex after his series House of Cards lost out on the Best Drama series award? It looks like she did, kind of — by proxy.
Chenoweth took to Twitter to congratulate the Showtime series The Affair when it won for Best Drama. As stated, the show was up against produce Dana Brunetti’s House of Cards.
In the tweet, Kristin said the following.
“So happy The Affair won tonight. #deserving love Ruth Wilson?xo.”
Here’s where it gets a bit snarky. The mild diss didn’t go past Chenoweth’s ex. After his loss, Dana Brunetti took to Twitter and replied to his ex’s diss with a simple “Ha.”
Ha “@KChenoweth: So happy The Affair won tonight. #deserving love Ruth Wilson ?xo”

According to Us Weekly, the pair split up because of distance, but obviously something went down because it’s definitely apparent that there was some bad blood there. Back in November, a source told the publication the following.
“Dana’s career is jetting off right now, and Kristin traveled a lot already, and they just barely had time to see each other. He’s producing ‘House of Cards‘ now, speaking at conferences, and has to see his kid as well. Just didn’t make sense for either party to continue.”
Currently, Brunetti is dating 28-year-old actress Katie Cassidy, who took to the red carpet to support him.

As for Chenoweth and Brunetti, the couple dated for only a year before splitting. The pair has a history with the Golden Globes. They went public for the first time at the ceremony in 2014. At the time, Chenoweth attended to support Brunetti. The last time they were spotted together in public was in April, when they went to the Museum of Moving Images event, which honored House of Cards star Kevin Spacey.
