Phaedra Parks Admits To Being ‘Sassy’ With New Housewife On ‘RHOA’
Phaedra Parks may not have been herself since last year, when she learned that her husband had been lying about his business dealings. During the previous reunion show, Apollo Nida revealed that he had done nothing wrong and that he was just guilty by association. However, the first episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta this season revealed that he was very guilty of fraud.
Filming continued as Phaedra Parks learned that her husband would be spending eight years behind bars. Many of her co-stars have given her a pass when it comes to her behavior, as she was dealing with the end of her marriage and raising two boys. Phaedra has confirmed that she is divorcing her husband, as she feels betrayed by his actions. Kandi Burruss has said that it has been tough to be a good friend to Parks during this time.
According to a new Bravo report, Phaedra Parks is now breaking her silence, revealing that she didn’t think she was being very rude to Demetria McKinney while visiting her in the music studio. But she does admit that she may have been a little sassy in her comments. However, it was McKinney who took it negatively.
“Looking back I was being sassy, but it was not with any ill intent. That’s what we all do when we get together. I think because Demetria has not spent a lot of time with me, she probably took things a bit too personally. My grandmother always used to say, “If someone doesn’t know you personally, don’t take it personal.” This is a strong group of very opinionated, independent women, and that can be intimidating at times,” Phaedra Parks reveals after watching the scenes with Demetria.
According to the Inquisitr, McKinney revealed that she was shocked at Parks’ digs given her own situation. She pointed out that Phaedra should not be throwing stones given she lives in a glass house. Of course, she was referring to Parks’ drama with her husband. But Parks says that she is not very surprised at the fight that happened over dinner.
“Nothing surprises me anymore. However, I am shocked that Demetria was more focused on me and the group dynamics than on her debut performance. The “confrontation” would have been more effective if she would have discussed it with me privately, since our initial conversation wasn’t in the presence of the peanut gallery,” Phaedra reveals.
