‘Agent Carter’ Reveals Stan Lee Cameo And Other New Info
Agent Carter will feature a Stan Lee cameo in an upcoming episode and multiple sources have revealed other bits of intelligence hinting at what else might happen as the series moves forward.
Marvel promoted Stan Lee’s appearance on the limited Agent Carter TV series with a release of two photos of the famed comic book creator on set with other members of the espionage show.
“Stan ‘The Man’ drops by ‘Marvel’s Agent Carter’ in the all-new episode premiering Tuesday, January 27 at 9:00 p.m. ET on ABC, but while you wait for his signature cameo catch a new episode this Tuesday!”
Variety provided additional details on the episode and how Lee’s character will factor into it.
“Stan Lee has booked his next appearance in the Marvel-verse, Variety has confirmed. The comic-book icon will make a cameo in ‘Marvel’s Agent Carter,’ in the series’ Jan. 27 episode. Lee will appear in ‘The Blitzkrieg Button’ as a man who has a brief encounter with Howard Stark (Dominic Cooper). Much like Lee’s numerous other cameos, most recently as Fred’s dad in ‘Big Hero 6,’ and as a ladies’ man in ‘Guardians of the Galaxy,’ the spot will bring a moment of levity to the episode.”
Meanwhile, Entertainment Weekly reported that Agent Carter might eventually reveal Peggy’s future husband, a character referenced in the movie, Captain America: The Winter Soldier. In fact, Peggy’s future husband might be one of the characters already appearing on the show according to star Hayley Atwell.
“We know from Winter Soldier that by the time that she’s in a nursing home, Peggy’s had a family, she’s been married, she’s had kids, and we don’t know if we’ve met that person yet,” Atwell adds. “But it could very well be one of the people that she works with.”
The EW article then speculated on which characters might make good candidates for Peggy’s husband.

But perhaps the most intriguing information gleaned about Agent Carter comes from an interview that io9 conducted with showrunner, Michele Fazekas.
The interview covered a variety of topics, including the fact that some “characters in the show” “are not what they seem.” And when the interviewer asked Fazekas if fans can expect to see more characters from the comic books showing up in Agent Carter, Fazekas provided a coy response.
“We will see other Marvel characters that exist in that world. And that’s all I’m going to say.”
