WWE News: ‘Macho Man’ Randy Savage To Be Inducted In WWE Hall Of Fame In 2015 Class

Published on: January 12, 2015 at 12:39 PM

Last year at the 2014 WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony, seven members of WWE’s past made it into the illustrious Hall of Fame. The Ultimate Warrior headlined the group of legends that included Jake “The Snake” Roberts, Trish Stratus, Paul Bearer, Carlos Colon, Mr. T and Razor Ramon. Unfortunately, two of the inductees are no longer with us, as Bearer was inducted posthumously.

At the conclusion of any WWE career, the Hall of Fame is the where they want to end up. The WWE Hall of Fame isn’t shrouded in controversy like any other professional Hall of Fame in the world of sports. Each representative deserves the spot they received after years of hard work and dedication.

Throughout the last decade, the Macho Man never made it into the WWE Hall of Fame. After his tragic death in 2011, his brother, Lanny Poffo, was only going along with his brother’s wishes, which was to not be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. Everything changed with Lanny gave them the green light. On top of that, Vince McMahon said in Stone Cold Steve Austin’s podcast that Savage would “absolutely” be in the Hall.

It’s 2015 and the inductees will be announced soon for the 2015 class. As of last week, Savage was only being considered for the Hall of Fame. According to TMZ , Randy Savage will be announced tonight as the first 2015-inductee in the WWE Hall of Fame.

Oooooh yeaaah… “ Macho Man Randy Savage is FINALLY going to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame TMZ Sports has learned.

Sources tell us… the WWE is expected to make the official announcement on “ Raw ” tonight.

If that isn’t enough confirmation that the Macho Man will finally be inducted, the WWE just tweeted out a report confirming the long-awaited news.

WWE fans from the golden days to today’s product have been waiting for this news for a long time. Macho Man Randy Savage is one of the greatest wrestlers in WWE history. His feud with Hulk Hogan only solidified his career in professional wrestling. The next question is the person who will induct the Macho Man.

Lanny already said that he didn’t want to go to the ceremony and induct his brother. That could always change with the right set of circumstances. To WWE fans, it doesn’t matter who does the inducting. As long as the Macho Man Randy Savage is in the Hall of Fame, WWE fans will finally be content.
