Selena Gomez Spotted Holding Hands With Zedd At Golden Globes After Parties: Zeddlena Steps Out
Selena Gomez has sparked rumors she might be romancing producer/DJ Zedd, after she was spotted holding hands with the EDM producer/DJ at Golden Globes after parties on Sunday in Los Angeles, alongside supermodel Cara Delevingne, 1989 songstress Taylor Swift and Mirror Mirror actress Lily Collins.
Zedd, 25 — real name, Anton Zaslavski — is a collaborator on the pop princess’ upcoming new album on the Interscope Records label, which the Russian-German musician is also signed to. The pair are currently recording new music.
Pictures show Selena looking far removed from the broken-hearted image that seems to have stuck following her high-profile split from Justin Bieber.
In one shot, the actress-singer is seen holding a shy-looking Zedd’s hand while greeting Jennifer Aniston, whom she met last year at the older star’s Cake after party following a screening.
Selena cut a dazzling figure last night in drop earrings, dramatic make-up, a floor-length, white, Kaufman Franco gown, notable for its plunging neckline and cut-out back panels detail. She made sure to chronicle her big night with updates to her Instagram account.
The Latina’s awards night outing followed her meet a day before with EDM producer/DJ Skrillex at the Chateau Marmont hotel hot spot in West Hollywood. Zedd was reportedly seen dropping Gomez off and picking her up.
Interestingly, back in December when Selena posted an Instagram shot of what appeared to be her first encounter with Zedd in a recording studio, fans noted the seemingly sparky chemistry between the two and coined the term “Zeddlena.”
Indeed, in recent days, Zedd, who is the hitmaker behind 2013 hit “Clarity” with Foxes and Ariana Grande’s “Break Free,” has posted a slew of Instagrams with Selena, fueling more dating rumors.
“Where’s Waldo,” Zedd’s caption read by one recent pic.
“@selenagomez likes Johnny from “The Room”… a lot!” he wrote by another.
Just last month, it was reported the starlet had an episode at Taylor’s 25th birthday party in New York City, and “cried and threw a fit” over Justin, although this was denied by her rep.
E! also reported “The Heart Wants What It Wants” singer was trying to let go of Justin, but it was a “process.”
Meanwhile, back on Golden Globes night, it looked like Selena’s “process” was just fine as she and her gang hit up the InStyle, Warner Brothers,’ HBO’s and the Weinstein Company and Netflix’s post-parties.
As well as hanging out with Zedd, Selena took selfies and pouted up a storm with Lorde, who is a mutual pal with Taylor, the sisters from the band Haim, Jaime King, The Fault Is In Our Stars‘ Nat Wolff, Gossip Girl’s Jessica Szohr, The Vampire Diaries’ Nina Dobrev, Lea Michele from Glee and Girls’ Lena Dunham.
The starlet pulled funny faces with Aniston’s fiance Justin Theroux and actor Paul Rudd for a humorous snapshot, which she captioned, “The guys were, happy.”
She also shared a photo with Jennifer to her Instagram.
In another photo, Selena posed with Lily Collins, writing by the pic, “My angel forever.”
Other guests in attendance included Jennifer Lopez, Georgina Chapman, Rita Ora, Ruth Wilson, 50 Cent, Uzo Adbua, Naomi Campbell, Jake Gyllenhaal, Benedict Cumberbatch, Joshua Jackson, Dakota Johnson, Diane Kruger, Helen Mirren, Rosamund Pike and more, E! News reports.
So is Selena finally over Justin after their on and off, four-year relationship and their overly documented highs and lows? Has she really moved on with Zedd, or is this a showmance to move the conversation on from the Biebs?
As far as online chatter is concerned, many think Zeddlena is the real deal.
