Is Jessa Duggar Chaperoning Sibling’s Date In New Photo?
One of Jessa Duggar’s recent Instagram photos might have some 19 Kids and Counting fans wondering if the reality show star really is pregnant. However, it could also be evidence that another Duggar is in a courtship.
In the picture above, Jessa is enjoying a large vanilla ice cream cone at a Braum’s ice cream shop.
“Braums ice cream to celebrate the Razorback win!” Jessa captioned the photo.
The last time the Duggar daughter posted a food photo on Instagram, it led to speculation that she might be pregnant. According to E! News, 19 Kids and Counting fans thought that Jessa Duggar was indulging a pregnancy craving when she shared a photo of a spicy Chick-fil-A sandwich last month. E! also pointed out that most of Jessa’s post-marriage photos have been from the waist up.
However, even if Jessa Duggar is pregnant, it’s way too early for the Duggar to have a baby bump worth trying to hide. It’s also possible that Jessa doesn’t want to get knocked up right away. The Inquisitr recently reported that Jessa and Ben Seewald are considering adoption, so they might look into doing this instead.
Some Duggar fans may be more interested in the blonde woman in the photo above than the pregnancy speculation. According to The Duggar Family Blog, she’s Tabitha Paine, the sister-in-law of Erin (Bates) Paine. As many 19 Kids and Counting fans know, Erin and the 18 other Bates kids are close friends of the Duggars, and they recently got their own reality show titled Bringing Up Bates.
A few Free Jinger commenters think that Tabitha is hanging out with the Duggars because she might be in a courtship with John David Duggar. He can’t be seen in Jessa’s Braum’s photo, but this doesn’t mean that he wasn’t there. It’s even possible that he and Tabitha Paine are on a chaperoned date.
John-David and his twin sister, Jana, are the second-oldest Duggar kids, and they’ve already watched two younger siblings (Jessa and Jill) beat them to the altar. Perhaps attending two Duggar weddings got John-David in a courting mood.
Back in November, Michelle Duggar shot down rumors that John David was dating a mystery woman. She revealed that her son has never courted anyone, but she also said that Jim Bob Duggar “has tried multiple times to find someone for John.” Perhaps the family matchmaker is trying to set his son up with Tabitha Paine, and maybe he’s enlisted Jessa Duggar to help him out by being a chaperone.
The Duggar Family blog points out that Braum’s is “Michelle Duggar’s favorite date night destination.” However, the atmosphere isn’t very romantic in the photo above — Jessa Duggar was put in charge of babysitting younger brothers Jedidiah, Jeremiah, and Jackson.
