Stock the fridge with beer, put the hot wings in the oven, and get ready for some football. Kickoff time for the Cowboys-Packers game is 1:05 p.m. ET. FOX NFL Sunday pre-game coverage starts at 12 p.m. ET.
Download the free FOX Sports Go app and watch the Cowboys-Packers game live on your computer, iPad, Android tablet, or even that Kindle Fire or Fire TV Stick you got for Christmas. Live streaming using the app is free, but viewers must have a pay-TV subscription with one of 29 cable providers including AT&T U-Verse, Comcast XFinity, Cox, Century Link, and Time Warner Cable.
Big Cat Country reports that Verizon customers can stream the Dallas-Green Bay game through their free NFL Mobile app. You’ll need the “More Everything” plan from Verizon to use the free app that will come in handy on February 1 as well. You can live stream the Super Bowl XLIX on the app as well, which can be downloaded for the iPhone, iPad, or Android mobile devices.
According to the NFL, the Cowboys-Packers game is the first playoff game in history that features a hosting team (Packers) that went 8-0 at home during the regular season against an 8-0 road team (Cowboys). The Bleacher Report’s Mike Freeman writes that although he expects the Packers to win, it will be a close game.
“Green Bay will likely beat Dallas in the divisional round this weekend, but drawing the Cowboys was the Packers’ worst nightmare. There is only one team that can beat the Packers at Lambeau… No team in the playoffs could beat the Packers at home except one: the Cowboys. Worst. Nightmare.”
