John Mayer, Katy Perry: Dinner, Hotels, All-Night Sex Romps As Couple Is Rumored To Be Back Together
John Mayer and Katy Perry are officially dating again, sources say. Within the last week, the duo has been spotted at hotels and having intimate dinners together. According to Page Six, the two lovers walked proudly into The Tower Bar as other celebrities and waitstaff looked on with their mouths agape.
One witness stated, “Katy Perry and John Mayer walked in together, arm in arm, and the whole room literally fell silent. Even Dimitri Dimitrov — Hollywood’s most famous maitre d’, who has seen everything — and Sunset Tower owner Jeff Klein both stopped mid-sentence when John and Katy arrived, as if they wanted to announce to everyone in Hollywood they are back together.”
The Tower Bar is a cozy but elegant old Hollywood styled bar located inside the Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood. Perry and Mayer were seated at a table next to Empire’s Lee Daniel, who was there having dinner with model Naomi Campbell.
Rumors have been swirling around since last week that the pair might be meeting up for all-night sex romps and romantic interludes. They were seen days ago having dinner at a friends house in Beverly Hills before sneaking away to Katy Perry’s home later, where John Mayer is said to have spent the entire night and most of the afternoon the next day. That sighting led to speculation that Katy Perry was no longer dating Diplo.
John Mayer and Katy Perry announced their breakup almost a year ago, and fans were sure that this time it was really over between them. Last week, a source stated that Katy Perry is still dating Diplo, but met up with John Mayer as a friend, and that nothing serious was happening. Others speculate that there would be no way the two spent all night together at Katy’s home without becoming intimate, and that the all nighter was definitely a booty call.
According to Radar Online, the two were also seen going inside of a hotel room together, and they were inside the room for hours before they reemerged. Yesterday, the Inquisitr reported that it was alleged that John Mayer engaged in a steamy sexual affair with Italian Food Network Chef Giada De Laurentiis — allegations which the television host vehemently denies.
TMZ recently caught up with Matt Lauer and asked him about the rumors. Lauer told TMZ that the rumors are completely untrue, and that he has never had an affair with Giada De Laurentiis. He stated that the two are only friends, and that he feels bad about the problems she is having with her husband.
