Alleged Zayn Malik Nude Photo Leaks After Perrie Edwards’ Phone Is Hacked
Zayn Malik might be the latest celebrity hacking victim. Many One Direction fans were thrilled when an alleged nude photo of the singer started being passed around on Twitter and tumblr. However, other Directioners aren’t so sure that it’s the real deal.
According to Hollywood Life, the naked photo of Zayn Malik was supposedly stolen after hackers gained access to the iCloud account of his girlfriend, Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards. Oh No They Didn’t! found the nude photo on the tumblr of user zayn011293, whose account has been deleted. The user captioned the photo, “OMG SO APPARENTLY PERRIE’S ICLOUD GOT HACKED.”
The blurry picture shows a tattooed, dark-haired young man with his face obscured by hair. The photo is cut off at the bottom, so it doesn’t reveal anything too X-rated. Hollywood Life thinks that the heart tattoo on the man in the photo looks a bit off, and many Directioners agree that the nude photo doesn’t feature Zayn Malik.

However, it wouldn’t be shocking if the nude photo of Malik turned out to be the real deal. Last September, celebrities learned just how easy it was for hackers to get their hands on their personal pictures. As the Inquisitr previously reported, dozens of celebrities were targeted in a massive hack that was dubbed “The Fappening.” Most famous victims were female stars, including Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton, and Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting. Nick Hogan, the son of former wrestler Hulk Hogan, became the first male victim of the hackers in early October. Stolen photos of celebrities were slowly leaked on Reddit and 4chan for weeks, but the hackers have seemingly stopped sharing their stolen stashes — it’s been well over a month since the last batch of leaks.
Even if the nude photo of Zayn Malik is fake, the singer may still be a hacking victim. According to Contact Music, members of One Direction have likely had their emails compromised. The Daily Star claims that Malik and his band mates were targeted by the same hacker group responsible for stealing Sony’s computer files shortly before The Interview was set to hit theaters. Media analyst Mike Raia said that this hacking could be another nightmare for Sony.
“The potential embarrassment and turmoil would be as devastating as that which has crippled Sony’s movie-making arm.”
Sony’s record labels include Columbia, RCA, and Epic (Zayn Malik and his band mates signed with Columbia Records in 2011). Other Sony artists who might be affected by the hack include Adele, Beyonce, Rita Ora, and David Bowie.
A Sony Music executive revealed that the hackers got their hands on a lot of sensitive information.
“We don’t even know the extent of exactly what they have. We know it’s a lot.”
Fortunately for One Direction, none of their emails have been leaked so far. However, Zayn Malik might be feeling a bit nervous if that naked photo is the real deal.
