Solange Knowles Says Blue Ivy Is The New ‘Sassy Pants’ In The Family
There’s a new sassy pants in the Knowles family, and that’s Blue Ivy Carter. Aunt Solange revealed Blue’s sassy ways on Instagram. It was a special occasion as Solange was celebrating Blue’s third birthday yesterday.
In a touching tribute, Solange Knowles posted a picture from her wedding day. In the photo, Blue is pictured doing Solange’s makeup. She captioned the adorable photo with, “My twin, my fellow sassy pants, my dancing partner, my incredibly smart, beautiful, niece-y-poo, turns 3 today! I love her so much.”
Solange Knowles wasn’t alone in wishing Ms. Sassy pants a happy birthday. Blue’s mother, Beyonce, took to Instagram to share a photo of the birthday preparations. The first photo features an ice statue with the words “Happy Birthday Blue” and a giant “3” balloon signifying Blue turning three.
The second is a shot of Blue in a pink dress, as she enjoys her rainbow birthday cake.
The well wishes extended to Beyonce and Jay Z’s fans as they took to Twitter to wish Blue Ivy Carter a Happy Birthday.

In addition to having what looks like a festive birthday party, there was a report that Jay Z and Beyonce bought Blue Ivy an island for her birthday. As the Inquisitr reported, Media Takeout said that the couple invested in an island off of the coast of Thailand.
A source told Media Takeout the reason behind the lofty purchase.
“[Blue Ivy] fell in love with Thailand, and so did [Jay-Z and Beyonce]. They thought it was a good investment, and a good [place] to create a new family home.”
The island is called Phuket (pu-kay) and can be seen on the Private Island Online site. The going price for the island? A cool $7.96 million.
The island is described as follows:
