‘Bachelorette’ News: Andi Is Single Again, Britt Next To Hand Out Roses

Former Bachelorette stars Andi Dorfman and Bachelor newcomer Britt Nilsson are making headlines just days after Bachelor Chris Soules’ season premiere aired on ABC. There’s a mix of good and bad news in “Bachelor Nation,” and of course, it includes a big breakup.

Let’s start with the bad news, especially for fans of Andi Dorfman and Josh Murray. E! Online reports that Andi is single again, and the couple, who have been engaged for six months, issued the following statement on Thursday.

“After several months of being engaged and working on our relationship, we have decided that it’s best for both of us to go our separate ways. We are very sad that it has come to this point, but this is what’s best for both of us individually. We will continue to be good friends and have nothing but great things to say about each other and wish each other the best.”

Their breakup may come as no surprise to anyone who saw them on the red carpet at the Bachelor premiere on Monday night. Although they stood close to each other, they completely avoided the wedding question when asked by Bachelor host Chris Harrison, with Andi stating that she wanted to “take a little break.”

“I think now that all of this is starting again, it’s time to take a little break and make a little home in Atlanta and figure it out there.”

For months, Celeb Dirty Laundry has called Andi’s relationship with Josh a “showmance” stating that they are “faking their entire romance and engagement.” According to a previous report in the Inquisitr, there were rumors that Andi and Josh were headed to Couple’s Therapy on VH1, and were desperate to continue the fame that was quickly fading.

However, there is a little good news for fans of the show. E! host and former Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky states that Britt Nilsson, the “hugger” who received Chris Soules’ first impression rose, may be ABC’s next pick for The Bachelorette. If Reality Steve’s spoilers ring true and she is not Chris’ final pick, then maybe Ali is on to something.

Chris’ season is just getting underway, so it’s hard to say if that’s just speculation or if it will be true, but if Reality Steve’s final rose spoilers are correct and Britt does not get Soules’ final rose, the bubbly and beautiful Britt may have a shot at becoming the next Bachelorette.
