Andi Dorfman, Josh Murray Split: Reality Steve Says ‘Bachelorette’ Couple Is Over [Updated]
The Bachelorette fans were rooting for Andi Dorfman and Josh Murray from this past season, but some eyebrows raised a bit recently when they said they hadn’t thrown themselves into wedding planning yet, eight months after they got engaged. Was there reason to worry? According to gossip guru Reality Steve, there definitely was. He says that Andi and Josh have split and an announcement is coming shortly.
The finale featuring Andi Dorfman and Josh Murray’s engagement aired over the summer and the two had seemed quite happy for a while. Though there had been some rumors of strife and conflict, especially regarding Andi with Josh’s family, the two always made it seem that things were going great via their social media posts.
During The Bachelor premiere with Chris Soules on Monday night, Andi and Josh walked the red carpet. They spoke with host Chris Harrison and seemed affectionate. However, when asked about a wedding date, they were vague and seemed much less committed to moving forward on a walk down the aisle than they had in previous interviews.
Reality Steve addressed the buzz in his new blog post Thursday and said that there’s a “better than great chance those two are never getting married.” Just a few hours later, Steve took to Twitter to break what will come as disappointing news for Bachelorette fans.
Steve says, “SPOILER: Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but Andi and Josh have broken up. You will be hearing it shortly.”
While there are those who will doubt his intel on this one until Andi and Josh confirm it, many realize that he is very likely right on this count. He’s been the bearer of similar bad news for previous seasons as well and chances seem good an official announcement will be coming from Dorfman and Murray soon.
Why split just days after appearing on the red carpet together and making it seem that all was well? What went wrong? Fans won’t know the answers to those questions yet, if ever, but many will be speculating.
The Andi Dorfman and Josh Murray break-up comes just weeks after Bachelor in Paradise stars Michelle Money and Cody Sattler broke up as well.
